@Unleashing the MC was truly terrible. I don't think I've ever come across a MC that awful to where the show was barely watchable. Rem saved the show for sure. | ||

She was just the female character with the most screen-time, nothing else. Edit: Then again we've been over this like a hundred times. Probably no reason to go through it again. | ||

I think, for me at least, the love speech and her fighting is what really sticks to people. Her dedication and unwavering commitment. That's what makes me like her more than others. The show could have been better in a lot of areas, but Rem was top notch. | ||

Apparently Togashi lost interest towards the end and tried to end it quickly. That's how it feels like, rushed and butchered. However, up until the very end it's quite enjoyable imho - the most enjoyable arc for me. About the Chapter Black arc, though: + Show Spoiler + I though the stuff with Territories was a nice change in pace, especially considering it came on the heels of the Dark Tournament. In the Dark Tournament, there was some real-high power level DBZ tier shit going down, what with Yusuke firing off Spirit Guns that are more like Spirit Cannons, and all sorts of stuff like that. Togoro's portrayal of power was extremely convincing, especially considering that he was pretty much hyped up to be the most powerful being in the Human World. If they followed this up with Togoro being upstaged by someone/something not even hinted about previously, I'd be irritated. Instead, humans with Territory Powers got brought in, which allowed for unconventional fights that weren't just a raw power pissing contest. It was a good way of showing that strength wasn't everything. Annnnnnnd then they got to Shinobu, who actually did upstage Togoro and make him look weak, and was never hinted at prior, and the fight turned into a power level pissing contest. And needless to say, I was irritated by such a turn. | ||

While Rem obviously WAS best girl in the series, I don't think I ever liked a picture of her. Nor do I have anyone in my feed who's drawing her.... Thus I assume Rem pictures are random recommendations for everyone no matter what Also, Rem won Crunchyroll best girl of 2016, didn't she? OBVIOUSLY people wouldn't forget the holder of such a title. | ||

I must say I love how they kept the chinese accent for Kong when he speaks japanese now. I'm usually not someone who thinks a lot about dialects/accents in shows but in this case I thought it was very cool. Him speaking japanese now also helps the viewer to realise how big of a time gap there was. Did Kazama actually masturbate while looking at the poster with his girlfriend?
