So Gilgamesh=Archer and that's why Gilgamesh called Archer "Faker" 1 or 2 episodes back? Why?
Then Gilgamesh was like "I WILL KILL YOU!" *whispersinears* "Hey, there are still 3 episodes left, you can't do that now..." "OH RIGHT, BYE GUYS". lol
I liked the final scene. Shinji is finally gone, one annoying faggot less.
+ Show Spoiler +He called him Faker because his magic creates fake copies of weapons and stuff while Gilgamesh owns like all the original prototypes for pretty much all NP.

+ Show Spoiler +K, why does Saber call him Archer then?

Well you will likely find that out later (if they properly explain it). If you want to know now its because + Show Spoiler +Gil was the Archer class from the previous war and was able to sustain himself in the world after the last war ended. So he was in Fate/Zero.

+ Show Spoiler +You should watch Fate/Zero. He was the Archer of the Grail Battle 10y ago.

+ Show Spoiler +Because he was the archer of the fourth grail war. Also he left the fight because as he said, getting soot on his clothes matters more to him than killing them then and there(Fuck yeah, lancer pissing off Gil from beyond the grave). It fits his character 100% perfectly, he doesn't consider it a possibility that he could lose to them so wether he beats them then and there or the next day doesn't really bother him. He's gilgamesh afterall, he sees himself above all others. The king of heroes. Arrogance incarnate.
And Shirou's ability to improve was explained in the previous episode, he got gradually better with each blow they exchanged. Not that it mattered as this was never a battle of who was stronger, archer could have killed him if he truly wanted, it was a battle of ideals from start to finish which was why archer just gave up, he lost and shirou won.

I didn't find the new episode of Kekkai Sensen very entertaining. + Show Spoiler +Like, I totally didn't care about the dude they fought and there wasn't much else that happened, except from some new infos on the black&white.
Plastic Memories was pretty fun. + Show Spoiler +I'm pretty sure the ending of this show will be super sad. I also don't see Isla and the MC to break up now, but let's see what happens next.
UBW was good like always. + Show Spoiler +I haven't seen Fate Zero yet, but I suppose I know the ending now. Well, will watch it anyway at some point.
DxD was pretty great. + Show Spoiler +Nice fights. Only sad thing is that Asia didn't die.
edit: Also I thought it was pretty obvious who Gil was in Fate Zero, didn't they even say that in this episode?

If you're planning to watch it anyway. And i mean, yeah, they basically said he was a servant in the last war and then saber refers to him as archer, so it was made fairly clear imoimo.
Also yeah, too bad about Asia.

+ Show Spoiler +Thanks for clarifying on Gilgamesh/Archer.
Yeah it kinda fits his character to leave them but it's still a plot-convenience. He still changed his mind pretty suddenly.
The explanation about Shirou's abilities is not really an explanation. It's like saying "he got better because.". It's also what Saber said this episode. I still don't know why he that happened.

I can also wait for the Heaven's feel movie, it doesn't really matter. ^^

Archer: Now i get it. That explains why you're so tough. I've heard of magecraft that enables you to master old skills by communing with past selves and letting them possess you. It appears that, everytime our swords clash, your skills are being honed. Everytime they exchange blows a bit of archer's experience flows into shirou as demonstrated quite clearly in those scenes with there being magic running from the impact of the swords back through his magic circuits and through his entire body.

Alright, I don't like this style of coming up with things in a setting but I guess it's satisfying enough.

dxd + Show Spoiler + deadpan sonoda umi / tougou is the best. Just seeing her bored expression was hilarious. Even confident when in front of Sir Zech and Azazel. also, Juggernaut drive is pretty cool. Issei beat Shalba too easily. Looks like something you don't wanna fuck with. Oh man, dxd does suffering + anger pretty well. I like it.
I hope TNK makes another season soon.

+ Show Spoiler [Seraph ep9] +Oh noes, Helm's Deep has been breached!
Oh, and those archers on the wall sure wished for their arrows to transform into battle-planes.

F/Z is less about finding out what happens at the end, and more about how the end comes about, if that makes sense. It will also spoiler the crap out of Heaven's Feel for you.

I can't wait for Plastic Memories to be over. I watched it purely because of the android factor and because I absolutely loved Eve no Jikan, but it's done nothing but fall way short of my expectations.

Alright, I don't like this style of coming up with things in a setting but I guess it's satisfying enough. + Show Spoiler +It's been a long time since I've read the VN, but I kinda remember one part where Saber is training Shirou (because he's a huge shitter and a liability in fights. But I digress). Eventually, Shirou opts to adopt Archer's fighting style rather than Saber's because it feels "natural" to him. Which makes sense - what works for Archer should also work for Shirou, considering they're the same person.
The same logic is applied to Shirou's choice of weapon. Shirou can make a projection of any weapon he likes, but more often than not, the one he chooses to create is Kanshou and Bakuya. He never saw those swords before he met Archer, but he's still inexplicably drawn to them.
There is also a plot point in Heaven's Feel relating Shirou's and Archer's skills, but I won't spoil that.

Actually this reminds me something I thought of but don't remember the explanation for. How come in Heaven's Feel + Show Spoiler +projections really fuck up his body? You can even die in a bad end just from using like 3 projections in a row. How come Shirou in HF blows at them but in UBW hes just projecting all over the place ezpz.

It seems a lot of the "battles" in DxD lately are just people getting one shot by random abilities never shown before. Some of them look pretty cool but calling them battles is a stretch. I find the show pretty funny even during serious scenes because the scenarios are so ridiculous.

A basic effect of an adaptation a lot of those fights were much longer. Juggernaut Drive is not something randomly pulled out of no where. Sir Zechs I don't think did what he did in the LN either, but its not much of a stretch for the #1 ruler in the underworld to 1 shot some mid-teir dude. if anything they just wanted to plug him in there to show off his powers. I dunno about the scenarios being that ridiculous iiirc outside of the ecchi/harem/lewd shit (which are just details) most of the stuff has been pretty straight forward and reasonable, though perhaps under explained in the anime.
The main thing they kind of botched is the design of Juggernaut Drive and how they were able to snap him out of it. That and the subs I watched really fucked the JD chants up, especially Vali's.
