There's some random explanation about how Dio acquiring a stand while in Jonathan's body resulted in the rest of the Joestars also developing stands. Why? No fucking clue. Chalk it up as plot convenience.

I really got warned. Wow. TL sure has gone to shit.
Jojo part 1 had really epic moments and really stale ones. I enjoyed it for the most part. Part 2 is a bit more hilariously awesome though. If you don't like part 1 at all then you'll prob not like the rest of it. Just stick with it a bit more for now.

I just rewatched UBW20 and there was something about the CR subs that confused me, i just realized that CR decided to translate shirou saying "Karada wa... tsurugi de dekiteiru" as him saying "Steel is... My body" when that should be "I am the bone of my sword"

Trash fight...? Idk what you think Jojo is about, but it really is about the fights. Especially part 3. So if you are expecting something real story driven, the you might be watching the wrong thing.

At the moment I think it's the standard 13. A lot of Kyoani since Clannad aside from ones like Hyouka and Nichijou (and we all know the latter was a disaster from a sales perspective) have not gone past 13, so it's expected that it'll probably stay the same.

Nah, with trash fights I mean fights against trash enemies I don't care about. I don't suddenly care about enemies only because they throw in 3 minutes of backround story during the fight, lol.
