A while ago there were few people in this thread talking about how good Death Parade was, and I'm glad they did because otherwise I wouldn't have bothered with it. And I gotta say that it is a really good show, not at all like what I expected it to be.

Difference is, all characters in Shokugeki are likeable. Plus it's another genre, you expect different things there.

I'd say Episode 1 of Shokugeki was the weakest and had the most "porn", though I liked them all so far. I've never watched something similar, it's awesome. ^^

Is it just me or is Shokugeki exactly the same formula as Yakitate Japan? With the cooking followed by ridiculous visions and all that. If you are loving Shokugeki maybe it is worth a little search.

Definitely watching right now:
Nagato Yuki (it turns out to be a fine romcom so i'm continuing also haruhi of the spinoff is still the same lovable haruhi of the main series)
Arslan Senki (i like it so far also there's people hyping that it's decent later on so why not)
Danmachi (it hasn't bored me yet .. also i like watching Hestia with the blue ribbon thingy)
FSN UBW (came for the unlimited budget fights)
Hibike! Euphonium (i think it has a chance to be a better than K-On and Kumiko is ungodly cute)
Nisekoi (duh)
Plastic Memories (might possibly be a decent tragedy-melodrama series)
Yahari (OF COURSE)
Yamadakun to Nananin no Majo (read the manga before and they are gonna try to cover all witches so i'm gonna watch .. just for my weekly dose of comedy)
