First and foremost, thanks everyone for all the replies! I checked out MSN, Umi thing-y and GE. Frankly, I've decided to go with MSN (currently on chapter 16 and liking it!). I watched Love Hina anime not too long ago, so I think I'll put the manga on the back burner for now. I also finally got Chaos;Head working (it was a nightmare to patch English), but I'll try playing it tomorrow, not right away. The concept of a visual novel seems interesting to say the least. I'm looking forward to it =) I was looking at the 1st page Fall 2010 poster, and noticed Fortune Arterial - an anime I decided to watch when the list first came up, but then forgot all about it because I didn't see any updates on it from the subbers I follow. I watched 2 episodes, and it seems decent for my tastes :p Is it a good ideal to recommend school day to a 15 years old friend? i already watch it Depends, how long has he been watching anime? If he's a starter, no. Give him bleach or one piece or whatever. Something rather mainstream and easy to follow. If he's already experienced, ask him how he feels about "slice of life" "drama" etc. categories. I feel like people here in the thread make watching these popular dramas like "Clannad" "Air" "Kanon" and ofc. "School Days" a sort of baptism for participating in the thread ;D. We all (or most of us anyway) went through it, but it might not make sense for your friend to go with it also.

Anyone watched the other ending from the 2010 game? Someone threw a youtube link here, that was amusing.

I expected the Makoto to get killed from what I've read, but everything that happened in that last episode went way farther than I thought it would. Way more violent than I expected, and I didn't expect Sekai to be butchered too. Made me even feel sorry for all the characters involved.

1. It had mechs. I don't know if it was Gundam, but the cockpits would fold-down so that the people in them could walk out and stand there. 2. At one point, there is a wreck or something. A male and female are stranded out in a blizzard I think, and there is a scene where the female uses one of the mechs engines to melt some snow/lake because the man is freezing. I am pretty sure the first thing he does is put his hands in the water because he cannot fell them, and complains about the pain, etc. I also think that the male and female develop a love interest but are on OPPOSITE FACTIONS. (this may or may not be true, it may be from a different anime) 3. There is a point where I think a female character gets shot in the chest, and falls out of her mech (while standing on the cockpit door). But later you find out she doesn't die because there was a locket around her breasts that took the bullet. 4. The end of the series I think there is a giant mech from "the enemy" that had a very distinctive weapon. It would shoot a thin white beam of energy in an arc, and whatever it hit would be followed by a trail of explosions. That's really all I can remember about this Anime, it was so long ago. The other thing is that I know the ending melody (that plays during the credits) in my head by heart, but the lyrics are japanese, so I cannot type them to help myself find this anime. If someone could tell me what they think it is, I could youtube the ending music to confirm it ![]()

A long time ago, like in middle school (7-8 years ago), there was this anime that came on late night (like 11pm?) on I think toonami. I have such a fragmented memory of back then, but really really want to know what this show was because I loved it, so if anyone can identify it by this list, please tell me :D 1. It had mechs. Very good show btw. This is the ed:

Like for example, having their robots break down due to weather or sand getting in the gears, guerrilla warfare in the jungle, squad combat, and things like that. Also, since its an OVA, it has very good animation. Its a UC Gundam, set in the One Year War, so it has a very good setting for the plot as well. Also, aside from Gundam UC I feel like it's one of the very few gundam series where you can actually tell someone's a superior pilot, rather than noticing they're piloting a hax mech.
