maybe it's because i grew up watching digimon and only really disliked the 4th gen/iteration/season/group whatever i'm really excited for this series. doubly so because it is the old characters | ||

Yes it was repackaged as "Saber Rider" in English similar to how Robotech was from macross, southern cross and mospeada The changed the hero from the Japanese guy to the British dude. The japanese guy still got the girl so no worries. Peter Cullen did the voice over for the Ramrod transformation just like every other big english robot I can remember. Also didnt realise it then but they changed it so that the aliens wouldn't die when they were fatally wounded but just went back to the "vapor zone" because characters dieing on american television wasnt acceptable for kids shows. I actually went and rewatched it 2-3 years back and the fact that I remember it so vividly actually made me feel really old. Also 80s american adaptation OP's were the best. + Show Spoiler + | ||
