I don't see it to be reasonable for them to have sex at that point and there huge age difference and the girl still on puberty. Also Whether they are gonna pork or not is not an important part of the story. They just became a couple like an episode before the ending and the whole point of the manga is about having a Home and a family.

Yeah I know, I didn't add it because of the romance. But now that I hear that such a romance is included but not as the main thing I really want to watch it.  Actually, I really agree with your last sentence.

I always thought it's primarily about Holo and Lawrence's relationship but people always call it medieval economics so thought I'd just put that "disclaimer" in. The economics/trading is interesting enough on it's own instead of purely being a mechanism for the romance. Although a lot of it does mirror their relationship so maybe it is just a romance show :<

Spice and Wolf does have a lot of economic shit in terms of the Lawrences deals and plans for making money but imo its mostly about those two because even half the deals involve some aspect of their relationship being tested or grown. Though iirc the anime stops before they actually advance to the "romance" stage (or maybe they end at where it begins I forget).

Yeah except in most places if one of the 2 is an adult it kinda counts as statutory rape. There are some exceptions but most of them involve having started a sexual relationship when both are minors.
