Nice Ep! Was waiting for Yano-san's life-saving return! (figured it would happen as soon as Oi-chan-senpai got the Desk position.) Love this show, my favorite anime thats currently airing by far.

That isn't really romance to me. Think it's dumb how sex is so taboo yet getting engaged and dedicating yourself to a person is perfectly reasonable in a story. Just shitty writing zzz. EDIT: maybe not cultural difference of the audience reading the manga It's not that sex is a taboo. When i said that they are gonna pork after years. I just assumed they are not gonna have sex soon cause #1 the girl is a 16 yrs old high school student #2 the guy is 22 yrs old. Maybe when the girl at least reaches the age of a college student maybe but not that moment. I don't see it to be reasonable for them to have sex at that point and there huge age difference and the girl still on puberty. Also Whether they are gonna pork or not is not an important part of the story. They just became a couple like an episode before the ending and the whole point of the manga is about having a Home and a family.

Whether they are gonna pork or not is not an important part of the story. They just became a couple like an episode before the ending and the whole point of the manga is about having a Home and a family. It's not that particular manga I have an issue with, it's mainly the whole idea of promoting people making life changing decisions(Marriage/Engagement) yet making sex out to be something that only mature people should do. That isn't just an issue I have with anime so I'll just leave it.

I don't see how it's knowing the audience since it's so rare to expand past that point there's no way of them knowing if people won't enjoy it. I guess that's the problem every big industry has, until someone brings something new they'll never change claiming that no one wants change as an excuse. I don't think that is true. Building up the relationship can be very romantic as well. It's surely not the end of the romance if they get together but imho coming together doesn't pop out of nowhere. I think getting closer over time due to stuff that you experience with that other person is very romantic.

The "building up the relationship" part(all the journey together) and the "trying to coexist together once they started dating and how they deal with their everyday lives and each other"(while this usually isn't shown cause the show ends before this happens) is what i watch romance for.

I haven't actually been able to finish spice and wolf. They talk about the medieval economics and other political conflict of the show which i am not really interested about. I just want to see them flirt with each other. Maybe if spice and wolf had polygamy i'd probably be watching it :D (just kidding don't persecute me please)

They built up that relationship and then you actually get them being a couple(even get the insecurities within that with Lawrence being dumb and Holo messing with him). Also why Hitagi is SS tier waifu even though she's barely in monogatari anymore. Maybe it's just projection of what I want to see myself and it pisses me off when stories/shows don't show those parts. I actually added Spice and Wolf to my "planned to watch list" the other day. Now I really have to watch that.

Wow suddenly Yona just became awesome. The script of this show is well done and the development is pretty good. It's steadily getting more and more likeable. rofl Hak is so weak when it comes to Yona(and she is super oblivious to his feelings) :D i like how they are shaping up the show . It's getting better and better every episode. EDIT: + Show Spoiler [Oreshura ch 28] + ![]() #silverbestgirl I tried reading the manga. It's has some pretty funny harem humor. Also silver best girl even on manga.

It's a adventure/economics/trading show that has romance in it. So just don't go into expecting it to be fully romance show. Actually think that's better personally as having a plot aside from the romance allows the romance to flourish.
