what happened is that they just assured each other that they can pork after many years once they secure prerequisite needed to reach the point of living together permanently.
(i hope i phrased it properly and i don't spoil anyone)

So they want to spend their lives together but are afraid of porking. I'll never understand people.
|
noooope...
they will surely pork in the future in the meantime they just assured each other that they will spend the future together (the girl is still like 16 yrs old dude)
|
That's even worse! So they fine with getting engaged when she's 16 but other aspects of a real relationship is only for the future? That's completely backwards.
|
If you're 16 you're old enough to pork.
|
dude they can't pork the guy is like 22 .. alright i think i'm making the story look bad
just read the manga .. it's not one of the shows that i prefer means it doesn't have cheating/polygamy and drama shit which i enjoy reading
it's just a story about childhood friend innocent romance and what it means to have a home.
|
Numy just wants more H in his life. tsk There's no eechi in Taiyou no Ie, it's just a cute rom. Kissing is like as far as they go.
|
Yea if you 16 you old enough to pork not make life altering decisions like marriage man. Hell they only let you rent cars when you 21 here.

I just think it's weird being OK with people getting engaged at young age but not porking. I also kind of have a pet peeve about all the "I love you" stuff when people haven't even dated before. Being friends with someone and sharing a life together is pretty different at times.

It's more complicated than they are close enough to each other that he (since he works as a professional already and they know each other ever since they are super young) literally supported her at one point cause her family background is like Cinderella.
And she is a highschool student getting cinderella'd by her family. She treats the family of the guy as her home and secondary since she has a rough family situation. While the guy is trying to get his old family back together + Show Spoiler +after his parents died and his siblings lived on the other relative now he lives alone on the home where his parents last lived before they died.
I don't remember anything close to malicious of this manga.

Does it existing make you a bad person? I'm not sure I understand the question, lol.
|
I think Numy is subtly asking if it makes him a bad person for wanting said figure.
|
Isn't she like only 10 years old or so? I mean i guess technically + Show Spoiler +she's not even a real human, she's like a homonculus type thing or whatever..but still

We've spoken about this plenty. Rom plot/story almost always is about the buildup to a relationship instead of the relationship itself which annoys me. That isn't really romance to me. Think it's dumb how sex is so taboo yet getting engaged and dedicating yourself to a person is perfectly reasonable in a story. Just shitty writing zzz.
As for the above. I kind of like the figure lol.
edit: She's 18, well in fate she's above 18 I think but in Kalied she may be young since the whole grail war doesn't happen.

she's 18 or 19 yrs old
she just looks like a kid cause + Show Spoiler +her body doesn't continue developing
i believe she's what you call a legal loli (learned it from the hanakana radio show)

Bad writing perhaps but it's also knowing your audience. I'd assume most readers like the buildup to a relationship trope a lot, which is why roms constantly revolve their entire plot around it.
There are a few exceptions to this, like Horimiya, which I enjoyed greatly. But I think for the most part, getting together as a couple signifies the end of the story cause it's happily ever after, etc etc.
Edit: and if I think about it some more, just about every single Disney movie I watched while growing up follows the same pattern too. Prince and princess meet, jump through a bunch of hoops, tra la la la la, they get together, The End. It's literally the tried and true route for the rom genre. You (Numy) are probably just tired of it.
Edit2: considering Kaleid Liner is the only T-M series I've ever watched, loli dance Illya is the only Illya for me. o/
