I think it probably has to do with buddhism being such a wide spread religion in Japan. There's other animes that use the concept of reincarnation and whatnot...(the one that comes to mind off the top of my head is Angel Beats).

Isuca episode 2 was alright, the neko can stay.
Saekano 3 is eh, the girls are good even though they are pretty cliche. Its just, well kinda boring show for the most part.

Pretty sure it was hinted at earlier as well... I mean she's sitting at a family restaurant with a guy who's telling her that she's worse than boring: she has no character at all. Chances are you're going to stand up and leave if you don't at least have fun around that person or it's just a joke lol.
TL;DR: I'd say it has been shown earlier as well but episode 3 was the one in which she herself figured out that she indeed does love him. Hence her comming back for, like you said, a stupid game proposal

We just never saw her act that way at all so it felt like a jump that should've taken place over 2-3 episodes, not a single one even if she figured out that she loved him at the end of episode two. I do understand what you mean though and would've liked to see them taking things more gradually.

Imas 4 was meh. Nothing happened. The show's a lot better when it's focusing on the main three (even if Rin has been boring thus far. Seriously, even Chihaya had more personality). Rika dancing was highly disturbing. Rock girl is a fucking poser. The search for Kaede cameos continues.
G Reco 18 was great. The fight was good, even if the start was kinda questionable.
Garo 16 was just... bizarre. Still waiting for the family to die horribly so the plot can start moving.
JoJo wasn't Oingo Boingo enough this week, but that's a pretty high bar to meet.

I should also start with FSN series but it's so bothersome to download finished series... or rather it isn't bothersome to DL them but it's a lot more comittment to decide to watch an entire series instead of just starting an airing one and be like "well I'll check out episode 1 and episode 1 only"
