Still 3 episodes left.... hope you have a box of napkins near by No. Would have been a good idea though. Used my shirt a lot instead... Watched the rest of it now. I'm a little confused about the ending. + Show Spoiler +Nagisa surviving was just another route in the VN I guess? Or was it a dream, an imagination how it could have worked out. But Ushio really survived? I personally took it this way: When Ushio died the whole thing was translocated into a different parallel world in which both Nagisa and Ushio didn't die but both stories happened and Tomoya still has memories from the other world. Did I miss something? + Show Spoiler +From what I understand, the good deeds all accumulated throughout the series (part with the robot, magic) leading to Tomoya having another chance at living with Nagisa and Ushio if he wanted. In other words, they died but he had a chance to resume his normal life after Ushio was born with the wish. It's been a while since I watched it so hopefully someone can give a better explanation lol. + Show Spoiler + The girl in the "other world" is Ushio and the robot is Tomoya. Basically right as Ushio died Tomoya had the option of not going on the path that leads to him and Nagisa meeting and falling in love but he chooses it anyway. The magic/good stuff that was accumulated throughout the series is then used to go back to the time of Ushio's birth but instead Nagisa survives instead of dying.so it all turns out alright in the end. I suppose this is the way they tried to show the "true end" of the VN which you only get if you collect all of the orbs of light in the VN. In the end the accumulated light allows for Ushio to recreate the world to one where her mother survived and she isn't afflicted with that illness so her family lives happily ever after. I dunno if I explained it clearly but that is what I gathered from the ending + looking up some stuff about it.
Thanks (also BigFan and Testie)! + Show Spoiler +I got the part with Tomoya being the robot and Ushio being the girl. But I was confused about the part where Tomoya remembered everything that happened and told it Ushio. So there isn't a parallel world where Ushio and Nagisao both died but a parallel world/parallel worlds where feelings of the city gather which can grand wishes depending on how "good" and "accumulated" they are? I also didn't get that it was his decision to meet her again that prompted the alternative ending. Cleverly done but a bit confusing. But it makes sense with the VN in mind, adapting this in an anime must have been hard. It's really important for me that I understood that he had to make the decision whether he would even meet Nagisa and did it again despite everything that happened and cursing himself for meeting her multiple times. wow. If Ushio and Nagisa aren't afflicted with that illness how do they explain that she repeated grades multiple times? Show nested quote +On December 30 2014 03:48 SK.Testie wrote: Rate it a 10 because it has the most feels of all the feels that have ever been felt.
lol I will let it ease down a bit and will decide in a few days. + Show Spoiler +Not sure if you noticed but the story that Nagisa kept talking about, the one she couldn't remember the name of throughout the anime was the one about the robot and the girl (or at least as I remember, could be wrong). Well, I guess it's just the experience of living through it so it was till in his memory. There was never an indication that it would be wiped had he chosen Nagisa. Btw, when did he tell it to Ushio?
Yes, he made the conscious decision to meet Nagisa on that hilltop as she was walking to school. In the end, he decided that he'd rather take his chances and suffer through it again if it means that he's back with Nagisa and Ushio because he loved them that much. Don't remember about the illness part at the end. All I remember is that they went together to some field and that everything worked out.

+ Show Spoiler [afterstory] + It's been a while, but why didn't he end up with the kindergarten teacher friend? I always thought that would have been the best ending, Him with her and Ushio as her adopted daughter or w/e.
finished Amaburi, i guess it was decent. I donno, it was very pretty, but about half the comedy fell flat for me. Characters were just okay. I found some sort of grow on me a little, but mostly nothing amazing. I think i gave it 7/10 on MAL. Which seems about right to me.
BTW i've been re-evaluating my ratings, and how i rate stuff, made some changes, but still mostly everythings 6-10 range that i've watched.
Also finished Bahamut....it was a pretty good ending imo, for only being 1 cour and for having an "original" story this turned out to be one really great show. maybe 1 or 2 more episodes to truly play out the ending would have been better but I liked how they did it.

They have those bonus EPs with him being with her and then the other with him being with Tomoyo. That's as close as you'll get. I also really like those two episodes.

ah yeah thats right. Like i said, it's been quite a while since i saw that and i don't exactly remember the story just like the highlights. and that the one purple haired twin and the white haired girl were better than nagisa

Bahamut + Show Spoiler +Pretty satisfying ending albeit a bit bittersweet, i am happy that they didn't just asspull amira out of bahamut so everyone could live happily ever after, that would've been even worse.
Also it ended with a "I'll be back" season 2 incoming, maybe? I sure hope so.

He told Ushio over the course of the last "recap" episode. He was narrating everything that happened adressing Ushio and she would occasionally react. He also says something like "I remember it pretty strongly, I still feel like it is something that happened, somehow" towards the end.

I really liked Tomoyo and watched the special episode about her but in the end I'm really glad it was Nagisa he fell in love with. Bahamut ep 12 was solid. Enjoyed the series in the end, more than I expected after the first few episodes. Pretty sure a second season will come. They even said "I'll be back" in the end.

Speaking of Key, Holy Breaker is boring me, and the OST is pretty dull aside from Faylan. To be fair, I'm only a couple chapters in, but I'm probably going to have to cycle between this and #1 idol to keep up motivation. Anyway, back to standing in lines.
