The original concept is cool so I find it hard to believe he's that awful at writing instead of just trying to pump out too much literature too quickly. Well, after all this time, Progressive is still the same level of writing as his short stories. Back then maybe he could get something better out, but by this point I think neither the publisher nor writer has any incentive to change from the working formula. We might get a better idea of what he can write like if he ever gets something published by some other publisher, but with dengeki I doubt the series is ever going to change.

World Trigger: + Show Spoiler +really glad they didn't wait till next time to finish Osamu's fight. He fought pretty well compared to how he was when he was a C-rank so I'm hoping we start seeing this level from now on (even if he had some help). Had a feeling that Chika's side effects attracts them which is why she went into the forbidden zone. Next episode should be good as well seeing as some border agents will find out about Yuma. Wonder if Jin will make some appearance to save them seeing as it seems Yuma gets hit early on by the hit squad.

Shiroe, why do you get in trouble so fast? XD I feel that archer vs caster will be even more interesting than assassin vs saber since the latter is more melee based. Regardless, looking forward to see what Saber and Archer can do in this situation.

my sentiments are the same, wtf they could have moved ALO to another season and expanded/taken slowly the pace of SAO.. it was so good and much more believable :/ i really wanted to play the PS vita game for it after watching the anime but ALO seriously wtf man D: fucking elves LMAO
anime studios really need to consider the pacing throughout the entire season, sure asuna was 100% waifu material and shit she is hot but the romance part was so random like in 2 episodes they got together, married, moved in, had sexy time (NO MY WAIFU OK THIS DIDNT HAPPEN) and had an adopted kid LOL wat even for a VR game its ridonkulous GG

Also, getting married in the game doesn't equal real life and that kid isn't an actual kid so that stuff never happened

Not entirely sure why its billed that way. Its a VN with a good soundtrack, with no choices. Higurashi isn't even voiced lol (probably the only thing the anime has on the VN, since it has a great cast)
You also don't need to read or watch Higurashi to read/watch Umineko. There are some references to Higurashi in Umineko, but they are more like easter eggs than anything else. But as with Higurashi, its better to read than watch Umineko. When it comes to simply adapting the VN content to anime, Umineko is sort of faithful, but the anime is still pretty bad. While the Higurashi anime has a huge fanbase for reasons I'll never understand, I've never met anyone who liked the Umineko anime.
tl;dr: the VN version is hugely preferable for both Higurashi and Umineko.

Despite the questionable art and what not from Higurashi I really liked the 2nd season... even though it's... uhh amazing on many levels... First season was just "wtf is going on will this be explained?"

Assuming you are talking about the animes, to me, Higurashi Kai suffered too much for the absymal first season, thus dragging Kai down with it. Like the first episode and the entire first arc of it were entirely anime-original material they were forced to do since the first season was so bad in giving relevant info. At least it didn't look as garbage as the first season, though. And I don't think I'll ever forgive either season for not using the VN's excellent soundtrack.

AND to piss everybody off more... I liked both arcs in SAO1. Aincrad was definitely much better but i was entertained by ALO's arc as well. GGO was good to me also if you were wondering. I just like the anime, simple as that. I do hate that by saying I like it I get thrown into a group with ignorant assholes who don't really know anything about anime outside those huge ones (bleach, SAO, naruto, onepiece). I'm really pissed now! There's nothing wrong with what you wrote lol. Ignore the haters. The big thing that I didn't like about the second arc of SAO was that the world just wasn't interesting and the transition was too quick. You went from a survival game to one where death meant essentially nothing. I did enjoy all those moments where Kirito would kick someone's ass though haha but the world needed to be explored a lot more. Would've helped if we had several episodes between SAO and ALO. GGO was fine, exciting at times and a bit boring with some episodes. I still think first arc of SAO was best though See i liked the world in ALO. I liked the addition of magic and flying, it made it more like the type of game I would play. Aincrad while not my first choice of an rpg would be something i probably wouldn't play until somebody made me then i'd fall in love with it. And I understand the "there's no death in ALO" argument but I got over it b/c Kirito still had that "can't die, can't let my friends die" mentality. So while technically they all could have died no big deal, it still had some tension in it b/c that's the last anybody wanted.
World-building-wise, ALO sure adds some interesting mechanics to the game like flying and all. Story-wise, Kirito and other characters (not like there are many) stay consistent with their mentality from SAO arc. But the story progression just take a turn for shitty path, probably why so many people hate it. Like the whole trap in game/force marriage thingy, the romance is pretty weak to begin with it doesn't need some test of true love story, not to mention the sister. Other things like tentacle researcher, door with access card and whatever is just poor (you can say that the person design it is not familiar with gaming world but still a poor design). And while Kirito being "invincible" in SAO arc actually has some mechanics behind it, ALO arc just pull shit out from thin air with the command system, it's really a badly executed story

Tbf to them, they followed the novel quite closely. But they could also have make arc 1 longer with all the content from material edition and from the later volumes that expand more on Kirito x Asuna romance. It's not that good tbh, but still better than ALO arc I feel. ALO has even more ridiculous random stuff out of nowhere.

Question: Am I supposed to watch at 10% speed and read those 1 frame text or those are not really important and can be ignore? First ep so far feel like those text tells some background of the story, but watching online stream is impossible to read T_T You don't have to pause to read the 1 frames. Most of the time they just elaborate on the thoughts you just seen or they quotes from the novels, it's more of a mood thing. In the first ep they are a bit of backstory but it's so min that it just leaves you with more questions than answers. Just watch it normally then when you rewatch you can start pausing frames to read. It's a show that's made to be rewatched so don't worry if you don't catch everything the first time. Just enjoy the ride. I am actually doing it the other way round haha, pause play first then rewatch in full without pausing. But probably after I manage to obtain the better version. Currently have the one by Coalgirls (not BD), and apparently opinions from the internet say it's a shitty version. Cant find any non-torrent Thora BD version yet. I am wondering when would be an appropriate point for me to start hating on shigatsu, I think still like at least a month to go before it gets to the point that made me start hating the series with a passion.
EDIT - At this pace I am guessing I can start complaining in about a month, yay. So far I can only bitch to Milkis because he is the bugger that made me catch up only to rage ;;

If anything, that part of SAO had always been consistent.
