Barakamon Rokujouma no Shinryakusha Nozaki-kun A pretty solid core but the season falls off compared to others with the supporting cast, usually there is more depth in the season. Ao Haru Tokyo ESP Tokyo Ghoul These three are all "Ok" but nothing that actually makes me excited and have a lot of anticipation for the day it comes out. They all have a couple of strong points that are alongside some pretty unremarkable or bad elements. Time to see if Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance will go down the path of average or the take dragonar (fake) route and be fairly generic and ecchi. Also WCW started really strong but the story got stale near the end. The best thing about WCW is that a lot of the character designs and artwork were something I enjoyed a lot. | ||

It's just that everything else is pointless as well, like you said: They played cards and that's everything that happened that episode. Literally. It's like watching K-On with everyone drinking tea, everyday life, nothing happens but all that without Mio and general moe-esque flavor that makes it watchable despite nothing happening. And I don't think it's supposed to be a (fantasy) Slice of Life in the first place. I just compared it to No Game No Life and WCW because those are the 2 shows Emnjay and I watched together last season and the one before that. Actually there are a TON of character development in Rokujyouma. LN Spoiler + Show Spoiler + Everything that happens has a reason that will be explained later, including how everyone end up there, why the landlord can beat up everyone, and how Yurika ended up winning at cards. Also, we get magic vs mecha, and space battle with dragon. | ||

Even putting aside all of Lelouch's OP mechs, the Gurren was like the single most powerful robot in the series, piloted by the best pilot in the series, who was good enough to beat Suzaku when he was in full Plot-Armor mode. | ||

I'm so used to her Nagisa voice. | ||
