No, Gaen would be Kanbaru's aunt. Assuming you were talking about Izuko Gaen. Kanbaru's mother would be Tooe Gaen. | ||

Sort of like that statement .. so made me wonder if Gaen child = kanbaru .. or maybe the subtitles are terrible translated on what i watched. | ||

Gaen is the family name, both her aunt and mother are named Gaen. I simply assumed that you were talking about the Gaen that has been properly introduced, which would be her aunt and not her mother.
