Its... a mecha anime. I've seen so many people trying so hard to compare it to all these other anime, where you are basically forcing pieces to fit the puzzle. I've seen people say its like Turn A, Layzner, Code Geass, Nadesico, and VOTOMs. Of those, Code Geass is probably the weakest comparison, but why do people even need to describe it as "well, its like X but"? If I wanted to, I could throw out a ton of reasons why its like Mazinger Z or Majestic Prince.

Rokujouma: + Show Spoiler +this keeps on getting better and better lol. Hopefully Sanae is the final victory though I'm not sure who'll win if there is even going to be a winner but I like most of the girls so far. Marathon next week sounds good. Wonder if Sanae will participate being a ghost and all. Also, rofl at her just clinging onto himself so that she can taste food XD

- Lulu was also a royal family member of Britannia, Inaho isn't from Mars

- MC's sister isn't blind/paralyzed
- MC's sister is older, not younger

I'd say it's more similar to The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya than toradora nagi. Aside from the highschool setting , kyon is similar to MC-kun both are deadpan ! and + Show Spoiler +both have mahou shoujo leading lady which is the centre of everything that is happening

Nozaki-kun : Shits hilarious as fuck and it gets better every episode.
Aldonoah Zero : Episode 3 of the show gave me a reason to continue. And more importantly Hime-sama does not suck like other passive-boring princesses from other anime's. Not to mention she is a + Show Spoiler +MAHOU SHOUJO MARTIAN HIME
Glasslip : Just because i like this kind of boring stuff. I'd probably watch this show till it becomes annoying which won't be for long i think.

Interestingly enough I thought ep1 from Rokujouma no Shinryakusha!? was a lot better than ep2 and I was a little disappointed at ep2.
And someone in here said Rail Wars is a lot like Baka to test so I checked that out hoping for a hidden gem... it's nothing like it at all...
Other than that, I should probably give Cencoroll #1 a try as #2 is comming out and people said that's actually decent if I recall correctly.

Cardinal George was the cloak that they used. ya, I felt the same way with Rail Wars and Baka to Test too. I think it's just the way the characters look and act which feels very familiar even though the stories are very different.
What did you expect from Rokujouma? I mean, they made a truce in the first episode so they can't be fighting like they were + Show Spoiler +thus they are fighting in games

The fact that absolutely nothing happened in the episode bothered me. I get that it's a harem and there's not supposed to be developement but not even the character-non-developing minigames are developing anything because in the end it all got back to square 0 with everyone being where they started out

They are just blasting through early vols and plowing straight into the middle part of the series when things start happening.
