For instance, Monster is an absolute masterpiece but the pacing can be really slow so that might not be your thing. Omg How do you multi quote on this forum easily D: I'll probably be adding monster, black lagoon and usagi drop from your list and maybe kino's journey to my plan to watch list
Whelp, aside from Monster's pacing being slow (yet great), there isn't really much else to say. You should be able to enjoy Black Lagoon and Usagi Drop right off the bat (maybe it will take until episode 2 for Usagi Drop). And just so you know, Black Lagoon and Jormungand are quite similar, but Black Lagoon is definitely better, so if you were to watch one I'd recommend Black Lagoon. Jormungand's still a real fun watch though.

So I'm 5 chapters into Horimiya. I hope chapter 37 is worth it...

Vic Viper get. HLJ was having a big sale not too long ago, so I got it for cheap. And speaking of cheap, I also got Vox Aura, and it was on sale for like $3, so I couldn't really pass it up!

Oh btw completly forgot: for those people who enjoyed NGNL and have already seen the last episode I'd probably suggest to read up on chapter 4 of vol3, it's translated in english on bakatsuki and is basicly the last episode. They did leave out a lot in that episode, both delicious and explanatory scenes so wouldn't hurt to check that out if you're interested enough. The read is cancerous but you get used to it and like I said, it's just one chapter with 4 subchapters.
Not sure wether I'm allowed to link something like that on here but google probably helps with that. The vol is the third one, the part I'm talking about is Chapter 4 - Rule Number 10/Convergence Method within vol. 3. The epilogue is just the short scene between Kurami and Fii that was shown in the end. Chapter 3 would be the game itself, so that's episode 11 and about the first half of ep 12.
lol the ranking on MAL gets better by the day, it's #16 today oO

The entire manga is too cute.

Turns out Sidonia actually planned out where to stop the show, unlike a certain other all-cg anime... Overall, the show was pretty solid, although they skipped some scenes I rather liked, and other parts were cheesier than I recall. But it could've been much worse I guess.
And they would tease this:

Not that I'm complaining.
So I guess a Blame adaptation is actually somewhat possible now?

Had a bit of everything: good fights, ChaikaxToru OTP, etc. I'm wondering if the Vivi hair change was the stress or her being a Chaika sleeper agent (possibly also triggered by stress). Hopefully Toru takes up the cavalier class upgrade :3 + Show Spoiler +I believe that it's the stress and sadness that caused her hair to change colors. Doubt she is a chaika sleeper or anything like that

+ Show Spoiler [Chaika] +I took Vivi's hair changing as a definite sign of a sleeper Chaika. She was attached to the guy who had a very high chance of coming in contact with all the body parts through his hunting of the other Chaikas so it makes sense to me.

Just started reading a manhwa called "Dear, Only You Don't Know" and I rather like it. One of the few Manhwa where I like the art style.

ugh..Finished Deadman Wonderland, I have to say I'm kind of disappointed. There were so many opportunities for a good storyline that they never took, and then the one they decided on was kind of dumb and they super rushed through it. Im beginning to get used to fast pacing being in the shows i really want more episodes of but this was annoying. There's so many unanswered questions...Still ignoring these things, I thought it was good, the original idea was pretty crazy and it was somewhat refreshing to watch a darker one after all this Date A Live and Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou.
why oh why do they always want to make me read the manga?

Because the point of anime adaptations is largely to make the source material sell.

Bokura wa Minna Kawai-so + Show Spoiler +Surprised how it ended honestly. I thought it would be they get together happy ending walking into sunset type thing. It does seem Usa is getting senpai to notice him though. I don't think if they make a S2 that the normal antics will suffice to keep me from watching it. It was pretty funny in the beginning but the rinse and repeat does seem a bit draining. Either they introduce another character to shake things up next season or they change the dynamic a little of the show. Also they can focus more on Riichan and Usa. I was almost certain when bitch girl arrived that it would end up Riichan helping Usa (which did happen) and that would be the final push for the happy ending but no Usa didn't do shit. I wonder if they will ever show Ayaka's non-makeup face, or if Shiro has any friends or back story to explore because he seems like the nicest person in the show. It was still pretty good overall, here's to another season. I honestly thought Riichan would have blue hair because of the Wikipedia picture of the show LINK, was surprised the first episode.
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun + Show Spoiler +Well that ending was kind of weird and the OVA even more so wtf. I liked Mizutani's character a lot although she changes her mind too much but I liked Haru even more. I think their chemistry worked extremely with each other. They have a good ability to create nice side characters. Takuma Terashima who voices Shiro from Log Horizon and Shintaro from City Actors has a great voice for bad guys. The way the story played out was nicely done imo. Although ending kind of flat (they even talked about it), the middle portion was quite good. When they did the back story about Haru living with his aunt, it kind of reminded me of Izumi Curtis from FMA.Natsume and Sasahara were great characters that go well with the MCs. But the Sasahara suffering is like on Chihayafuru levels man, I was cheering for him the whole show. With an ending like that I'm not sure if I like it more than Maid-sama. The comedy was definitely better in Tonari but both had great side characters. Maid-sama had a decent ending so I am like 50/50 on this one but overall enjoyed it lots and that's what matters.

Tonari: maybe some manga spoilers? I just started the anime but
+ Show Spoiler +In the manga I was wondering why she liked him at all at first. He was flat out insane and very very immature starting out. He did show a fair amount of maturity later on though. When it comes to Sasahara I think the ending showed potentially that his suffering ended but it was never 100% confirmed. Since you brought maid-sama it does remind me of that show somewhat lol except the lead in maid-sama was about 80% less eccentric and wasn't so socially inept and scatter brained.

I donno if you guys knew about this already but, I found this pretty interesting. This guy makes all these awesome swords, Ive watched a few of these (SAO, Bleach, Cloud's Buster sword from FF7 and Sephiroth's sword. I know these 2 are definitely not your guys favorite animes..but still, cool ass swords!!!!!!
Kirito's Elucidator from SAO + Show Spoiler +
Ichigo's Zangetsu from Bleach + Show Spoiler +

Itzura na Kiss: + Show Spoiler +finished watching it and enjoyed it as well. I liked how we ended up with a happy ending and the anime went through a decent portion of their life. A good portion of animes I've seen so far end right as they get together and we never see them going through their daily life or anything like that. Even though they didn't go heavy on the romance, I thought what was shown was right on It did seem odd at times that she'll ask him for a data or feel guilty at other times even though she was his wife lol. Still, it was pretty nice to see the progression from the first time she tried to give him the love letter to her moving to his place and getting closer to him slowly to him eventually realizing his feelings for her and marrying her. Then the whole working in the hospital and trying to balance that with their daily life and her pregnancy was good. I think his personality was also well done though it was disappointing to see Kotoko get hurt every time he didn't react or ignored her before he finally realized that he was jealous of Keita. I guess the only improvement is maybe add a couple more episodes to show how they managed Mi-chan after she was born. I'm sure there would've been a lot of humourous stuff that would fit in and it wouldn't detract away from anything. Either way, glad with the way it ended

It's an interesting theory for sure though I still don't see how it would happen. I mean, sure, maybe the other chaikas that we saw came into contact with the body parts had a similar thing. I guess you mean it from the perspective that she was a hidden chaika all along but I guess emotions triggered her transformation then? That's some crazy stuff lol. We've never had an indication that it can be the case. To me, I just saw her having a breakdown with her hair color changing as a result of her strong emotions but just a theory for now though I do also like your theory

+ Show Spoiler +I think what he meant was she was always a Chaika. Like, the rest of the Chaika's all found some other person to help them look for and recover the body parts, and even though this one maybe went through something to change her into the "Vivi" character she still unconsciously found someone that would help her to search and recover the body parts.
Also I can't remember if i've posted this here yet. + Show Spoiler +On a semi side note...which one's the real Chaika/king's daughter? I was feeling like they were all the same person, just split of into each having a different single distinct personality trait, and my brother says they're all some type of clone and the original was killed (had her head chopped off) which would explain 1 scene in like the last or 2nd to last episode and also why they all have that mark around their necks.
