I'd totally watch a second season. Although it wasn't really a detective or mystery show it was still entertaining. The characters definitely made it. All dat Ai Kayano, I think Satomi Sato is perfect as Chitanda. School festival arc was my favorite. Have you seen the OVA yet? I have seen it and just like Oreki i find Chitanda so moe. I disagree. I believe Makoto was 10-20% responsible at best since he got pushed further with Sekai's actions. The 'special' training etc... Pls you are all mistaken. Kotohana is the evil cockblocking witch. Everything was going well with the classic close friends-lovers by Sekai and Makoto. Makoto is not a douche he just bodly taking all the tempting opportunity given to him. What is wrong with that ?

Sidonia did the Benisuzume stuff really well. Overall, I'm actually pretty happy with this adaptation, CG qualms aside.
Finished Seirei no Moribito. Excellent show. Solid pacing throughout. My only complaint is that they didn't have more fight scenes, because that choreography was damn beautiful.

Akari is such a boss in Captain Earth lol. + Show Spoiler +I didn't think that she'll manage to convince them to let her go though her argument is probably strong. They could've easily shot her in the head though and she wouldn't have the speed to launch the nukes. Guess they didn't want to risk it hmm.

Yea I thought it was really well done and made everything clear. One thing about the manga sometimes comes off as not being clear, but that could be due to me blazing through it quick to catch up.

Forgot his name but he's the character facing Tatsuka in the OP with the red gun. Other than that, the car flipping at the end, definitely not an accident though it was hard to make out what happened there (something grew from the ground or from the tire to cause it to skid and flip?)

Wish they put close to as much thought into the antagonists as they did Akari and co. Getting pretty tired of the generic depressed orphan of the week formula. Didn't even give the idol chick half the back story of the red guy other than the magazine article.

The first half of the latest episode was some of the more awesome mech combat I have seen. And the giggling from Benisuzume was proper creepy.

Maybe they didn't have time? Joking aside, ya, I see your point. I wish we got a lot more on their background rather than the generic depressed orphan stuff. Guess they figured it'll bore us to death but keep in mind that supposedly they were isolated from each other at the facility and probably had no friends etc... Regardless, I want more! lol.
