So is that a hard 2007 or does the cut off date move up every year that passes?

That's around the start of the CG era.

Ping Pong #6. why are you so good? I think i know why they chose the artstyle for this, a rather realistic (and painful) story with some surreal artstyle (or just ugly in some people eyes but i really find it acceptable).

DBZ? 70s? What?

The only 70s show I watched is probably cutie honey, original gundam, original yamato, and a few super robot stuff. Well, and Doraemon of course, but I watched that when I was little. Even like Urusei Yatsura are from 80s

So this week I finished Minami-ke Tadaima. Was great. I'm really glad they got past the disaster that was S2. Nothing much to say about Minami-ke Tadaima other than it was closest to the quality provided in S1. If I had to rank the seasons, it'd go S1 > S4 > S3 > S2.
8/10 for the goddess that is Haruka/Satou Rina and for the ceaseless entertainment known as Mako/Mako-chan.
On another note, Haikyuu has proven to be quite interesting. If I were to rank the sports anime that I'm currently watching, it would go Ace of Diamond > Haikyuu = Ping Pong > Baby Steps >= Yowamushi Pedal.

Why is it that every character that I want to win in a romance anime ends up losing!!!!! lol >< Kimikiss Pure Rouge: + Show Spoiler +Even though it's usually said that the childhood friend loses, in this case, Mao won. I guess this is one of those exceptions. Still, for most of the anime aside from the last couple of episodes (pretty much since he found she likes him), Sanada has always had his eyes on Hoshino. He promises her that he will visit her weekly, that he will be by her side forever as well as spending a ton of time with her. They are both enjoying each others company greatly as well until Mao's feelings are revealed. I can understand him feeling sad that Mao is moving away and is being hurt by him but there wasn't much shown about him liking her aside from him blushing once or twice in the earlier episodes. I mean, ok, it's understandable if he likes her and maybe he didn't see it till then but it still seemed like he ended up with her only because that's what the original storyline was. On top of that, he decides to leave Sanada on her last day never to see her again. I guess he's never heard the term "friends" lol. Then we have Hoshino. She plays her role really well. A great character imo since she developed throughout the series. I was a bit disappointed in the ending though, more so by her sitting by herself starting at the fireworks. I guess she needed time to process things but just seemed odd considering she doesn't have much time left and won't be seeing them anymore. It's true that her chapter at the school is done now but it just felt out of place for both her and Sanada to just go their separate ways and be ok with it(her more than him since she was smiling after she just lost her bf). As for Aihara, constantly chasing Futami was a bit annoying at times but I guess she was lost and I like the idea of not giving up on your love. Too bad Kai lost but at least he was ok with it, so was Sakino so I guess it's not too bad if the characters are able to move on. Overall though, liked all the characters' personalities, how they constantly changed and how the story kept you guessing for a decent portion of it (until confession at least). Aside from Sanada losing which was disappointing, it was a pretty good anime and would recommend it to anyone

Kimikiss was an odd one.
+ Show Spoiler +To be honest, I thought Mao was the best girl... but I wanted her to stay with Kai lmao.

Been reading the Knights of Sidonia manga. Seems like its rushed somehow, also seems to confuse me a lot with what is going on. Been pretty good so far though.

Ohmygodohmygodohmygod!!!!
I just found out from that lovely chart on the first page that Mushishi has a sequel!!!!
Praise the lord for I have died and gone to heaven!
Lets hope it's as good as its predecessor.

Liar Game seems to be going to shit...
Well, was getting bad ever since that Chair game...don't know what happened to the author, but he dropped game theory for trumped up drama with obvious conclusions...

Pacing on the first 1-2 arcs is pretty quick, but things slow down after a certain recurring "character" appears.

Finally working through my GBF kits: + Show Spoiler +
Fenice is going to be a real quick build. From a laziness perspective, its nice to go from big complex stuff like that Takemikazuchi and Sazabi to a smaller sized HG. But just looking at the stuff the Fenice comes with, I'm pretty satisfied. It has clear plastic for that beam cloak it had. Only has 1 set of hands, but thats exactly why I bought those sets of HG hands!

Episode 19 of Nobunaga was great!
Alot of symbols are being used. I'm curious as to how things will unveil!

How many of those do you have Sent? Seems like you have a lot of em, you have them all set up in a glorious formation somewhere? I remember you showing some pics of a few of them grouped together.

Been a while since I've taken a group picture of them, I keep putting it off lol

One of my friends has a ton of gunpla. I think she filled a rather large bookshelf with them. Not to mention having cardboard ones as well lol.

Before, she was this strong willed person who put him ahead of herself and was always there helping everyone. While I'm not looking for her to play that kind of role since it's a noble role but not usually needed after the first push, she became a totally different person. Once Sanada started making progress and became Hoshino's bf, it's like she couldn't hang to her personality. I guess love makes you act and do crazy things lol. In a way, it reminds me of how Sekai in SD helped the MC get close to Kotonoha(or whatever her name was) by telling him what to do then decided that she would rather have him herself lol. Given, Sekai was never his childhood friend and the two stories are nowhere alike but ya, that part is similar
