Yep same VA. Not much has changed but I hear that the character outfits are truer to the manga now. It also so far has stuck to the manga fairly well like the old series.

Its ok. It has its moments but it doesn't really stand out much from others of its kind. As I mentioned before the lead's VA has been kinda meh for me just because of my personal experience of him in other roles (ones I thought fit him), I just don't like him in that type of character for some reason.

Mangaka-san to Assistant-san is surprisingly good lol. It doesn't try to hide anything. Reminds me a lot of Seitokai Yakuindomo though it's only the MC here who does it lol.

Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou is okayish. Soemtimes it's really good, sometimes it's flat out boring imo. The good moments started to happen more often after episode 01 though.

Mangakasan ep01 was really good, after that still decentish but no "omg this show is amazing" material at all. Hayamin is good, as was expected, the MC is really good, the jokes are stupid in a funny way if you can stand it but the three other girls just aren't anywhere near on the level of Hayamin/MC. When I try to remember what I like about it, what comes to my mind first is reaction faces and they're good but not much else to it really. It's worth the 10 minutes per episode though. Probably wouldn't be able to stand it in 20 minute formate.

It's a bit better than SYD though! Hayamin looking down on MC just too good, unlike SYD where you just got this giant group and everyone's more or less fine with what houki clone does.

And damn i can't wait for the new manga episode of it .. I have been excited about it as much as i am excited for the new chapter of one piece..

I just hope the author doesn't pull some kind of break in the very crucial part of the plot
