The method that each family in Nasuverse practice sorcery is a tightly guarded secret. Tokiomi knows of the existence of bugs, probably, but I don't think he knows the full extent of how they were used. Either way, from both a parent's and magician's point of view, letting Sakura's talent go to waste would've been a shame. So he let her get adopted as the only way to let her practice sorcery. I don't really think that means he is uncaring toward his children at all. | ||

Shinobu is awesome, the silent ones are the crazy scary ones, poor hanekawa with her catZ and all is good and well but doesn't mean it doesn't have flaws. There's a reason it's called season2 and not season3. Nise, Neko and Kizu are still part of season 1, so she obviously didn't get that much attention between Bake and season2. Season 2 was much more "well" rounded and "everyone get's a turn" that way if you ignore the fact that kanbaru got completly shafted in animation for now because it was the entirety of season2. Again ignoring Kanbaru but that's a known thing. | ||
