I still find reading them on baka tsui to be kinda eh though, not exactly an easy on the eyes format. Just wish they would publish them in english (I can see why they don't bother though). I bought one of the DxD LN just because I was curious as to how the physical thing is and man they are tiny.
Keep in mind there are regular paperbacks of fully fledged novels that are the size of LNs, though those have smaller and tighter font usually. Most of them are puny though, with some exceptions like Horizon. Classified as light novels, actually bricks and blunt instruments of murder.
Yeah not sure if it was spammed back then, but when the OVA first aired there was much crying from the Tsukihi fans here.

Are the LNs ever going to be translated? There's some on baka tsuki, but unless I'm mistaken, not much more has been added since a year ago.

It really depends on if they have people actively doing it or not. Plus LN take longer to translate than novels and they come out at longer intervals.

That's the only one you needed for the story. No need to watch everything unless you just love to torture yourself and follow the path of great masochists you can find here who despite the warning still watched school days.

KANAME IS BACK AS WELL! great news, more awkward moments to follow! lol. Let's hope they also bring back Manaka eventually. I would hate for the show to end and for her not to make an appearance since I don't think Hikari and Miuna will end up together.

Bungaku shoujo is actually one of the better examples. One vol every six months is a great timeframe if you compare it to fan translations. Plus it's nice when a release is actually guaranteed to be done in a certain period of time. ~_~
Monogatari is probably hopeless now that the anime has aired.
For a series to get translated quickly, you need rabid fans and/or a super dedicated translator. Series like SAO and index/railgun would be the former, and zaregoto (;; ) the latter. Series that lack both are doomed to eternal translation hiatus.

I am more interested in the new form that Kagari busted out when she told him to close his eyes. I think I just like the characters really (the females ofc because the guys are always boring in these types of shows). The story is still pretty vague atm.

hmm true, I wonder what that form is as well. I'm sure we'll see more of it in future episodes. I feel that we need a lot more background to the story. Hopefully an info dump next episode as well.
