IS selling so much is both expected and sickening. You would think that if it sells so well, they could at least spend the money to make the CG not look so ass. I don't recall the first season's CG being THAT bad, but its possible i'm just remembering wrong.

i love anime but hated j-drama i found most of them shit .. well at least in my part .. the only one i watched was one liter of tears .. that shit was more dramatic and painful than clannad after story .. very very depressing and at the same time inspiring

with the way they are using "yuri" aka make outs it IS a gimmick. You don't need to have excessive making out every episode. They are only having them do it because its yuri. My comment about having a male in there was to point this out, people would get annoyed with a m/f couple that did the exact same things and I don't see why they get a pass because they are chicks.
Like how you explained the "study" session. Everyone knows what that was about and they could have shown it in a different way but because its yuri NOPE MAKE OUTS.

Meh, the difference in what people want far as Sakura Trick goes is pretty big. Making out is fine. Making out in yuri is fine. Making out at that pace in a straight, yuri or BL show? Urg. Watching a pair of バカップル in action isn't bad in small dosages, but series is basically just about that. So...cute? The individual actions are somewhat. Pack them all together and it is overdose.
About the only thing that I can make myself watch that amount of kissing would be like random cute animal vids with fluffy animals.

I never said I was expecting a story, or rather not anymore seeing the approach they had in season 2.
