Also, took me the whole 52 min to realize the title is a reference to Seven Samurai.
By the way, has anyone else not dropped Samumenco? I don't know how, but it still manages to be really good from time to time. Weird as fuck show.

Seki-kun chuu2 mikakunin de shinkoukei gin saji 2 wake up girls nisekoi sekai seifuu wizard barristers continuting Log horizon and strike the blood Waiting to decide: Witch Craft works - Likely will be watched The Fool- I'm not entirely sure where they are trying to go with this. I'll probably watch a few more to find out, and if I do I'm likely to end up watching all of it D-frag- Very likely to be watched Hamatora- likely to be watched mahou sensou- probably watching z/x- unsure if I liked it or not, which means it's likely to be dropped onee chan ga kita- probably dropped Nobunagun - probably going to be dropped Saikin, imouto- I'll probably wait for uncensored versions. Toaru hikuushi- likely to be dropped continuing KLK - at this point I think I want to drop it, but I've already invested one season of episodes Dropped hoozuki no reitetsu syd - Side note, I also dropped he first season after like 2 episodes sakura trick That's 15 in the watching or likely to watch sections, I think I'm going to need to trim that down. And I haven't even tried some with plot summaries that I find sort of interesting like: Double circle neppu kairiku noraami saki- I enjoyed the original season, skipped the side stories and haven't had time to try the new one. super sonico gogo 575 nourin

It's cute, funny and has cute girls doing cute girls. Looks like a severe case of wrong expectations to me. It's people who cannot appreciate yuri and just go "omg lesbians nice :D". I already called them out like a week ago, its obvious they'll start dropping it as it goes on. Unless you're Blasterion I guess. I liked both eps a lot, it's pretty much what I expected it to. So adorable. I knew exactly what it is but who wants to see make outs all the time when you know they are only having them do it because its girl-girl. The show would be 100% fine if they weren't just showing off cute girls making out with them doing some cute things in between. Episode two was ok till the end "make out to study!". Stupid, show their relationship development some other way. If the anime was exactly the same but if one of the leads was a guy this anime would get 1/4 the viewers because it would annoy people. Its just "ok" without the gimmick of yuri.

A review taken from MAL + Show Spoiler + This review is 100% spoilerless, so feel yourself at home. I just finished Corpse Party: Tortured Souls and noticed there was not a single review of it, so... Here you guys go with a review of Corpse Party: Tortured Souls. Tips for Newcomers: Hey. Do you already know that Corpse Party is a waifu slaughterhouse simulator? That said, there is a lot of gore. When i talk about gore, i mean gore. People are going to be killed in a lot of ways here. So if you can't take any drawn violence for some reason, then this anime is simply not for your attention. And also, there is a little prequel of this you should watch before watching this. It's called "Corpse Party: Missing Footage". History of Franchise: Back in 1996, some enthusiasts from Japan create a game on RPG Maker they called "Corpse Party". It was rather... weird? That word fits well. Art style was horrifying and gameplay was something of an early JRPG. But even so, like most of RPGM games, this one found itself a small yet strong fanbase. There even were fan spinnoffs. And then in 2010 Team GrisGris releases a remake for PSP called "Corpse Party: Blood Covered Repeated Fear". I will further refer to this game as for "The Original". This was my first meeting with the series after it was localised. It was sort of a crossover between quest RPG and a visual novel. This isn't a game review, so lets just say it was good. There was also a crapload of manga i don't care to mention. Soon after that a comedy spinoff called "Corpse Party 2U: Sachiko's Game of Love", spinoffsequel "Corpse Party: Book of Shadows" and a sequel "Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient" are released. But this is irrelevant to us now. 2U game was packed with a little bonus from studio ASREAD (gave us "Mirai Nikki", watch it if you haven't), which was a mentioned above prologue "Missing Footage". Soon after that, an anime adaptation of the original was announced. So now we have this. Story, Chardesign and Atmosphere: The Original took me 6-8 hours to beat, while this OVA lasts only for 2 hours with 4 pairs of rather poor openings and endings. The first thing that should attract your attention is that this time is simply NOT ENOUGH. That said, our noble ASREAD have to do a lot of work to scenario. In fact, there are a few already practiced among other studios ways. The first is to fit everything in, thus making things quite fastforward. It worked quite well for Steins;Gate, where 40 hours of VN were compressed into ~25 TV series, 20 minutes time each. The second is to make a new story completely from scrap. Corpse Party franchise is all about remaking the first story, after all. As a result, ASREAD go with a compromise for both Original fans and "others" in terms if unsatisfying them all. They just take the scenario and cut 80% of it, leaving us with a veird synopsis. As a result, Original fans don't get to see a lot of their favorite bits, and "others" just get a feeling of "I haven't been told something" and notice characters acting rather stupid from point-to-point. Still, a lot of changes to story done. Well, i still enjoyed the story, though i discussed this with someone who booed the OVA after first 2 eps. The reason is simple: characters look stupid now. Can't complain. Sound an Voicing: We have soundtrack cut from Original. These are fitting just perfect into everything. You are going to be satisfied each time you hear a background music. Well, except for the one i was tired from after first previews of this ova came out. The one used for OP, i mean. Same goes for voicing. Nothing more to say, 10 out of 10 for sounds. Video and more on Atmosphere: Ah, yes. The Original had a lot of wandering around the place, which was a creating a brilliant atmosphere i still consider one of best ones i saw in anime related stories. And the art was just bringing the experience to the edge. Dark crushed hallways, ambient music, sounds of rain with storm from the inside. Not to mention the world was "alive", and simply walking from point to point may have caused everything around to change. ASREAD tried their best to make the same for this OVA, and it can be seen. We still have genius art of the place with a lot of attention to details. But, as i already mentioned, this got fastforward, and there is a lot of character deaths, so this looks more of a well-detailed slaughterhouse. I mean, try to take some SAW films and just cut every single fatality scene from there and make them into a single video. That wouldn't be much easy to watch. Summary: My score of this is 9 out of 10. You can remove 2 plusminus 1 for me being a fanboy. We have a nice yet stupid at some points story with genius drawings and music with voicing. I can't ask for more. Ah, yes, forecasting. This is currently rated 7.6 on MAL. My bet is that it would be somewhere around 7.75 plusminus 0.25 with a small chance of going over this border in any way. And that's after it is out in good quality with good subs. This is a rather good rating for a rather good yet short OVA, i think. Should I watch this?: A hard question. All i can say is that if you are fine with all the killing, this does deserve your attention as this is something new to the genre and anime in summary. Done here. Forgive me in case there is something missed or wrong. Have a nice watch. I mean, giving viewers an end deprives the writer/studio x amount of possible additional revenue streams, where 2x is the number of boobs being foisted on a still ignorant Ichika.
