Too harem in my opinion to be any good, maybe because I spent too many years playing mmo's but the whole "MMO HERO" that they show there and that every girl falls for is ridiculous. People can't just solo entire raids just because they're cool, which is why I enjoy Log Horizon a lot more. If you watch it, just keeping in mind it's a love story between the idiotic "mmo hero" I just mentioned, and that pink haired girl and you'll like it, outside of that the show it's not very good at all. | ||

Will keep these in mind as I start watching SAO. If part 2 becomes as bizzare as what's written or totally different to the point where I dislike it, then I will probably stop. Maybe it'll be the first show other than Tokyo Raven that I don't want to watch XD | ||

Also, when someone says the main girl in SAO has pink hair, that should be a huge red flag to take that person's opinion with a grain of salt. | ||

To be honest, ALO and GGO were fine, if SAO didn't exist. They won't be anything great on their own, but at least they'd make infinitely more sense as a story if they weren't a continuation of SAO. All the problems really just boil down to that instead of elaborating on something that has plenty of room for additional details, the milking was done by randomly continuing a story that by all rights should have ended. Which is why Progressive exists as a thing. | ||

Top Anime 2013: Chihayafuru 2 and Uchoten Kazoku stood out the most looking back Most Overrated Anime: Somehow for me Shingeki no Kyojin got so much hate I can't even considered it most overrated anymore. Probably kill la kill then. Biggest Suprise: Log Horizon/Outbreak company Didn't have particularly high expectations going into either, turning out decent so far. To be honest, I have no clue why I'm enjoying log horizon considering it feels like a 13 episode long info dump, but w/e, can't explain away my enjoyment. Guilty Pleasure: Puchim@s Even if it looks like flash animations from 2000, I love the source material and seiyuus anyways. | ||
