But it also isn't as good as the kiddies say. It had story, characters, music and everything going for it, except they made a few horrible mistakes which brought down the score. 1) The huge time skip after the first episode. They needed to slow down the pace majorly here, and up the pace in other areas further on. 2) The harem of pointless girls in the first 6 or so episodes. They should have focused on that 1 stupid girl, Sachi I think her name was who was part of Kirito's first guild. Had a few episodes with this group, and THEN their deaths would actually have a greater impact on the viewer. 3) And of course the biggest criticism of the second game they entered, although I personally found it entertaining because it was pretty LOL to see siblings fall in love unknowingly. But for the greater good, after heathcliffe was revealed, Kirito should have just got wounded, and they continued to venture up to the 100th floor to eventually face him. | ||

The funny part is that they DID slow down the pace considerably. All the useless harem stuff comes from side stories. Vol 1 skips from floor 1 to floor 70+. | ||

It was so fucking good but they wasted their opportunity to create a masterpiece. I fucking hated that show. Not gonna watch the SAO 2 until i get clear feedback that it is not crap like what happened to one. | ||
