But even without those fancy devices, while I was always dissappointed when I started watching fiction works that deal with art talent and shit, now I can convince myself to believe that what I'm being presented with is indeed truly beautiful, in a way. The creator wants me to believe that some cool art stuff is going on, I'll buy it, and let him finish his story  . The actual quality of the art performed is rarely the main point. | ||

I kept watching, hoping that Tomoko would subtly change and eventually overcome her isolation. There was never any introspection though. The only development she had in the entire show was literally the very last scene of the very last episode. It's like, what was even the point of the series then? I mean yeah, admittedly it was funny, and some parts had me on the floor in laughter, but I feel disappointed overall. | ||
