Cool, misogynistic guy who is popular with the girls? I hear klaxons. The main heroine also seems fairly unremarkable.
Sasami's done now, and it was rather disappointing. Sometimes I feel like the better Shaft's art gets, the worse their shows become. Or maybe they just need to pick up weirder shit. Tis PA works, if they pick up something you can be sure they'll do what they typically do. That said, source doesn't seem to be particularly remarkable, I'll probably comment more on that after I make more headways into it.

Yes they should pick up weirder things like MPD Psycho. That's about the only thing weirder than 90% of shafts shit. Well, Mushi to Medama (also by Akira) is much weirder than Sasami (which is actually a pretty straightforward story if you strip out the silliness). I wouldn't mind seeing that in anime. Take a series that runs on silly stuff. Remove silly stuff. Sometimes I wonder how their minds work.

I had a 'ureka' moment....Macross Frontier!!! The whole series is like a big MV (music video)...admittedly some episodes they run out of budget (for sure LOL) but overall the whole anime is such an eye fest.

Actually, Guren Lagann doesn't look half bad as well. It's a peculiar art style though :D

Yea, already watching Unicorn Hard time to follow the story though. Probably because there's a 1 year gap between every episode XD
Going to take a look at the suggestions! thnx

God I have to continue watching Unicorn but one episode comes out like every year or so haha. I probably have to rewatch the whole thing to remember.

Kaichou Wa Maid Sama moving into it's final arc? Seems a good time for it, it's been a fun run.

there's absolutely nothing compelling about this series at all. didn't watch index but railgun just seems like a really shitty slice of life
any compelling plot point is absorbed and destroyed by the story it has to tell it seems like (ie, an alternate telling of index) and the world just isn't very interesting
