It was a good ~nine hours. Honestly it's one of my favorite anime. Only thing I'd like to complain about is Azaka being such a brocon (in that regard Akiha is a thousand times better but I'd rather not spoil Tsukihime as to why), it's a fairly annoying trope that belongs in comedy and cheap drama anime.

I know the picture is (last chapter was quite cute), it's just been a damn long time since I read Love Hina. Was probably one of the first manga I read all the way through.

I think KnK is supposed to be in an alternate reality compared to Tsukihime (or something like that), but both draw from the same universe/lore and stuff. Like for example, Touko's sister is in Tsukihime. The anime for both Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night are really bad, while the VNs for both are generally highly regarded. If you want anime, Fate/Zero is a prequel to FSN, and was animated by the same company that did the KnK anime, and is pretty good.

(gem sword working by taking mana from the air in parallel worlds). I assumed that Tsukihime and Kara no Kyoukai were in the same world, though.

Yes, I know that, so what? That doesn't mean the story of KnK takes place in the same universe as Tsukihime or FSN. In fact, every single source I can find, including both Wikipedias for what its worth, states specifically that its an alternate reality.

Maybe Eca can magic up a correction of me, then, but I'd literally never heard of KnK being referred-to as an alternate reality :< I think the only confusion that may occur is because of the same name of "Shiki," but otherwise...
