But seriously is there actually a reason? Or is that just the way it is?

A bit too little Yang, but appearantly Kircheis is a total badass at melee combat. And we got some Schenkopp. Good stuff. Question is what to do now, no more LoGH content left (and no I will not watch Golden Wings). If there's anything out there worth calling similar to LoGH, I'd love a recommendation.

Did you see the director had to apologize for this week's ep of PP? On February 22 2013 08:43 Maxie wrote: Full name/link or something? Just searching on Sekai brings up a lot of hits lol. Crest/Banner of the Stars, as Ragz said. The same author as LoGH did Titania and Arlan Senki but be warned that neither anime finishes their respective series. (Titania itself is incomplete/abandonware) Edit: About psychopass, apparently Episode 18 will be entirely redone.

He just said he is very sorry and will redo the animation, apparently the quality is really bad.

Found the news, it is so damn rare to see some director admit their mistake etc albeit i dont think the anime quality is that bad. too many plot holes in epi18 however. Respect for the PP team though! edit: cant believe people on myanimelist bashing on akane so much. The character is very unique in this world of generic moe characters. She is very tough inside (and arguably outside too after that knock down of makishima ROFL) and is a key character of the story because of her unique psycho pass. I admire that kind of character/personality like so much (irl).

What most people do is live in complete depression because there isn't anything as good out there, or rewatch it. Crest/Banner of the Stars is kinda close. Dougram is option, but don't expect something LoGH-quality from it. I'm think a grand total of 2 people in this thread have actually watched Dougram from start to finish, so I'll elaborate a bit on it. Its often called "The LoGH of Mecha" on /m/, because it eventually gets fairly heavy on the political/economical/diplomatic side of war, as well as the macro side of it. Dougram is good, but not LoGH good. I gave LoGH a 10, and Dougram an 8. Dougram's first half isn't that great, and doesn't really pick up with the "logh-ish" stuff till the second half. The first half is mostly guerrilla warfare+mecha, which you don't see alot either. Also its fairly long, 75 eps. Also really old, in case you don't like early 80s anime. I don't mean to sound negative on it, since I did like it (see my score), but going into an anime expecting LoGH is a perfect way to get disappointed On February 22 2013 09:02 BurningSera wrote: ^thx for the link. Akane is a fine character, even if she is ugly as hell.
