One volume per movie seems really short. That equates to ~ 10 movies so far, which I highly doubt. 6 Sounds a bit much.
Oh, there was a PV for Broken Blade
Based on this, it seems like the first movie will focus on the friendship/rivalry thing, which would be the first three volumes. And God damnit, I know I was joking about how Lygatto is not OP so he isn't Kira, but he is being voiced by the same voice actor.
The purgatory theory makes a lot of sense to me. I don't think listening to Tenshi has any bearing on whether or not somebody disappears though. Now that we've learned that she develops her own weapons/skills, it can kinda be assumed that she's outside the "system", suggesting that she's just like Yurippe and the others. Of course, my theory doesn't explain why people who follow Tenshi's orders disappear, nor does it explain why Tenshi herself doesn't disappear...
As to why Iwasawa disappeared, I guess it's because she accepted her death or that life's just not fair? I have no idea here.

There's only been two instances in this thread, I think.
Wow, katanagatari episode 4 was fuckin amazingly badass. That series is starting to pick up pretty well. Aaahhh only if the episodes would release quicker then 1 per month!

It's probably too early to tell, but if the theory of the world being a purgatory holds true, then it's likely that listening to Tenshi is equivalent to being complacent in the world, and being complacent should mean that you have basically no regrets left from your previous life means that you disappear. That's just my theory though.
And Tenshi herself isn't really conforming, she's using the system just like the brigade in order to achieve a goal of hers (perhaps letting everyone pass on without regrets?). Her personality is really quirky, but who knows what's the story behind that...
Berserk is my favourite Anime by far. I'm not a huge anime fan, but I love this one. It's more adult oriented (not in a sexual way), cool story, good animation, lots of battles.
Iwasama-sans dissapearence as she accepted her death and faded out of whatever world they're stuck in. I wonder if they're in some kind of life/death situation and if they accept the angels resolution they die, but if they accept why they have a reason to live, they survive? Very interesting show.
That's basically my idea for it. I really do love the show though. The main male protagonist is a pretty good character and that guy who's supposed to be American I think? Is pretty funny.
I don't think she accepted her death, she just accepted her disappearance. The reason why this world exists (apparently) is as a type of purgatory where those who still have regrets about their life goes. Disappearing is a function of both listening to what Tenshi orders, but also another unknown factor, which is where the episode ends. I think the exact reason why Iwasawa disappeared might be revealed in the next episode (unless we return to useless filler crap, completely possible since it's about baseball...).
The way through which Iwasawa disappears is also kind of weird, since she just says that she found something before disappearing, but what did she find precisely? Did she find that she can save others through music? I don't necessarily see how that leads to disappearing though, it rather seems to me as if she forgot about the circumstances of her death and the unfairness of life, as both her's and Yuri's story seems to emphasize.
That's pretty much why Iwasawa's disappearance troubles me, since her revelation doesn't seem to match up with anything really... If the entire premise of the brigade is to fight the unfairness of God (if he exists in this world), then Iwasawa seems to have completely forgot about it when she disappeared...
I have a feeling that I didn't get across what I wanted to say, but I think the general gist of it worked
And TK is epic. He was basically jamming out the entirety of the meeting, and this: Just made me laugh out loud.
I wouldn't say she accepted death, that's why I think she's survived. Before she dissapeared she realised that she wanted to save other people through music like she was saved by some. Maybe that's why she dissapeared? None of them seem to remember exactly how they die, so could it be possible none of them are actually dead, and they're all in acoma or very close to death? This could be the proving grounds on whether they fight back to survive or let death take them naturally.
Get chance and luck!
I wonder if he's actually voiced by an American, in some cases he sounds blindingly obviously american, but when he speaks Japanese it's almost as if it's a different voice actor.

I don't think the show gives us enough information yet to make even a good educated guess, but perhaps the fact that Iwasawa accepted her fate to sing for eternity led to her departure. She has no further reason to fight in this world.
And I think the characters are all dead. I mean they said that they retained their memories from their previous life, so I would assume that they remember dying and not entering a near death state.

I agree with this. That anime was really sweet up until the last few episodes. If you don't wanna drop a ton on it...you could get the dvd version for less. Although Anime looks sooooooo much better on blue ray ><

it was the best episode so far, even though we got trolled pretty hard by the the episode 4 preview...
the show felt really slow and the dialogues which the is the anime's main focus isn't good enough to make it stand out, but still am watching for the visual style.
Yea I watched the first episode of Angle beats but can't wait for each new episode....so I am just waiting for the whole thing to come out before I watch it.

This could be true, but maybe they are all actually dead and refuse to reincarnate because of their lives traumatic experiences, so when she found herself at peace with what had happened she was ready to go back to the world, to save others through her music.
All i know, is that show is becoming really promising and i just hope is not another Chaos;Head.
I can't shake the feeling that it's all just a means of rehabbing comatose kids with traumatic pasts, and disappearing is just a means of "waking up" and getting on with life. Settling down and "being a sheep" may be taken as becoming willing to live life as normal school student, thus the disappearance. Finding something you want to do in life (Iwasawa) would also mark a "disappearance." Would also make sense given her context of having just "rotted away" in a hospital bed. I can just imagine a sobstory end where Yuri can't get over the hump, with regards to living again, and the main character says something like "then come see me in the real life" as he "disappears," a "dawww" kinda thing. Yes, like a certain video-game-based/spawning/collab anime. Maeda Jun stuff are almost never what they say they are at the beginning of a story, so I have trouble taking their "we're all actually dead" comment without a grain of salt.
