Ahaha~ (Been wanting to reread some parts of Kanon)
I wasted so much time today going through all of the illustrations on pixiv tagged with Bungaku Shoujo related tags...at least this is not as bad as the time when I went through all the Zaregoto and Ningen series ones. I want to see the animated version of Bungaku Shoujo already...or find the other parts of the audio drama online.
Anyone watch the most recent episode of Durarara? I thought it was entertaining and hilarious at times, although I thought that as a whole, the episode kind of dragged itself out. I suppose it was good in that it provided basically the entire backstory for the rest of the new arc.
Didn't really care for the Angel beats episode this week. A few potentially interesting plot points crop up, but overall... meh. It doesn't help that I'm not really a fan of the band.
Next week: Mandatory baseball episode!
Edit: By the way, did that guy try to hack the computer through a USB port?
For those who watched Angel Beats this week, this seems relevant:
I don't really get the hate for the show, I think it's the most interesting show this season. Maybe it's just because I had virtually zero expectations for it, though.

I saw that on nicovideo the other day. It was a little more amusing since most of the comments scrolling across the screen at the end consisted of BAD END.
As for the backlash, it's more or less expected just because of how much hype there was for this show.

Angel Beats is turning out to be one of my favourite animes, even after the two episodes. It reminds me quite alot of Haruhi for some reason.

Yes, they definitely overhyped it. They being both the makers and the community.
so, the "curse" still is going on and that person with wings is still suffering up in the sky, and the two children at the end were the next generation to try to free her again?
and like, uh where did Yukito go afterwards? so he just vanished into nothing without having almost no meaningful impact? so he "died" for no reason? I really disliked how Yukito was missing from the ending
I think it would have made a lot more sense (not that it made much in the first place) if Yukito somehow was able to free Misuzu from her "curse" and free the person with wings in the sky as well. Even if he does disappear/die that would have been a better/happy ending.
I mean, by the way this is going, just countless girls will be going through the same pain and hurt from this, with nothing resolved
but then again that would have been the more cliche ending :/
I liked it though, until the last few episodes, which kind of just got confusing and didn't really resolve much
Is Kanon different or confusing nonetheless? its kind of long, so I might watch it over summer, after school is over
I've started alternating between watching Welcome to the NHK, Black Lagoon, and SZS season 2. So far it's been a pretty effective way of watching everything wihout getting crushed by depression. I still need to finish KnK sometime. That's for after exams, I guess.
Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu has an anime? I did not know this. I'll have to give it a try sometime.
What's SZS?
The Nogizaka anime is really bad...and the second season is even worse...I'd recommend staying away from it unless you're really really bored.

Everyone gets confused about Air, but I'm not sure why Clannad was confusing for you. Have you watched After Story too?
Finding true happiness breaks the curse that the Buddhist monks laid on Kannabi no Mikoto, allowing the next life to freely pursue happiness. Hence, although Misuzu dies in this lifetime, her next life will be a happy one, giving the ending a heartwarming undercurrent of hope.

Kanon is similar to Clannad, but not as good imo.
Yeah I also saw After Story, I mean it kind of made sense I guess And I really enjoyed Clannad (After Story especially)
There really isn't anything that interests me this season. I'm only watching two things at the moment: Katanagatari and Brotherhood. It's becoming increasingly difficult to find something that I want to watch...
What's SZS?
If I remember correctly, SZS is Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.
