BTW... what happened to Five Star Monogatari?
Nagano's arrogance and insanity is probably going to keep that from ever finishing.

Can't we get a look into his background yet? I mean, maybe this'll be the kickoff for something bigger, but I feel like we're going to clean up this whole "brother" arc in like 2 more chapters, tops. I hope I'm wrong, because there's a lot of potential here, but I don't know :\ Mah just accept that it's never going to get serious (like Nisekoi) Yeah, but Nisekoi is a cutesy rom com that can live off of characters being fun and silly little romance tropes. Assassination Classroom kind of promised this big buildup with an interesting background and lots of room for character growth and then... just kind of did nothing with it. Makes me sad. To me, it's really trope-tastic and should be boring because they use a lot of the standard manga rom-com things, but the characters and writing are good enough that it's fun instead. Hence why I like it a lot ![]()

The first one that is, I thin like ep 4 or 5? Aside from that I've liked all episodes. I don't think I've disliked any episodes, at most I've been kinda neutral to them. Why did you dislike the spooky boogie episode? I'm curious as to why. When it comes to episodes I liked, though, I really liked the ones with the Rikako girl and the girl school/human art murders (~episode 7 or so I think). Why? Because I love Sakamoto Maaya and I was reading KnS at the time, haha. Halfway through Monster. So far, I'm really pleased. I really like long series that make good use of the number of episodes by being able to develop the characters and the main plot while having good and interesting subplots, and I really feel like Monster is doing that. I agree on the pacing suddenly jumping a lot between fast paced and action filled and being slow, but I kinda like it. Also, I'm very interested in both Johan and Lunge as characters (Lunge more so). They switched from a good ED to a terrible one though. As usual ![]()
