I honestly do not think it suffers from it. It's a nice break and it's very refreshing to see a shonen focusing only on the manly side of things. HxH is the thing I look forward to the most every week, even more so than R;N or PP. That said, + Show Spoiler [R;N] + Pretty good episode, dealing with the fallout of the last one. It was nicely established just how fucked things were, with the club disbanding and all. And then Kai went full protag mode and fixed everything. I like how it lead to him downloading the (possibly .exe or .bat) last Kimijima Report. You know shit is going to get real next episode (though I have this feeling every week) | ||

Well, as he is just a Kurama clone, it's not surprising at all. In YuYu Hakusho we only had Botan (mah) Genkai (wtf) Mukuro (lol) anyway I guess you suppose to read sailor moon to balance it out. | ||

The animation quality is excellent now, trust me. Especially + Show Spoiler + Gon vs Hisoka in Heaven tower It's currently in + Show Spoiler + Greed Island. They met the blond haired loli some time ago and trained under her. Training is over, they decide to go clear the game, Killua did Hunter exam, Bomber killed everyone and is going to make a trade, Spider learn that the guy to remove Nen is in Greed Island. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + Mandatory beach episode. So much fanservice. So many buttons were pushed ("do not push" = guarantee to be pushed). Seeing grandpa weasel go into villain mode was pretty entertaining. Rei becomes a fork+knife ninja. This episode... lol. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + K, the characters are fun, but I'm really getting tired of these 1-2 chapter arcs. Can't we get a look into his background yet? I mean, maybe this'll be the kickoff for something bigger, but I feel like we're going to clean up this whole "brother" arc in like 2 more chapters, tops. I hope I'm wrong, because there's a lot of potential here, but I don't know :\ | ||

Assassination Classroom kind of promised this big buildup with an interesting background and lots of room for character growth and then... just kind of did nothing with it. Makes me sad. | ||

It definitely was a whole lot better than what it could have been. Vivid Ferret trolling the hell out of everyone, HomuFate turning into a ninja, Giant Robots show up, the buttons, lol. | ||
