Do not like Inuyasha. I like swords but not the overly magic stuff. And I like animes that actually end. Maybe that will help narrow down my distinct tastes. Sword Art Online actually seems like a fair recommendation. The first arc at least has no magic whatsoever and lots of fighting with swords (it's in the title, even!). Your tastes also don't seem unusual at all considering you listed 6 extremely popular shows as your favorites. Berserk might be up your alley too.

Even though it's pretty generic, it just feels so well-executed... Opposite here, looked good at the start but it really should have been a 1cour show. They've just been rehashing the plot for the longest time.

The problem is the actual plot in LN doesn't pick up until vol 6, 7 or so. The anime could very well skipped more stuff in the middle to make it one cour, but they chose not to do that. Overall it's still a fun show. On January 30 2013 22:26 Dingotrold wrote: o_O dis is what? I wonder if KnS2 will get an official translation/english release or not though. LoGH ep ~83: + Show Spoiler + Yang died. Sigh. I do like the opportunity of growth this gives Julian as a character, though. Still, damned Terraists, and what a shitty way to die. Later at the funeral it just looked like he was asleep ): Late reply, but I believe since KnS is one of the few VNs that actually garnered a profit outside Japan that MangaGamer will likely release it sooner rather than later.

![]() I'm not necesseraly looking for a Shonen though these are often providing with good drama / action as I like ... I guess what I'd be looking for the most right now is a story with characters developped as much as in E7. I mean what was really great in that show was having so many differents characters get to develop a lot through "only" 50 episodes ... FMA B had that too but I can't think of many other shonens that get to develop so many in such a small amount of episodes ...
