Ehhh either way, I am probably reading too deep into this. The Hanekawa and Araragi relationship is far to complex and is one of the most interesting part of this series. Wish Kizu come out soon so I can get a better understanding of their relationship before Neko. But ya, Kizu keep getting push back so I wouldnt be surprise if we dont see it for a while Kizu basically only flesh out the things that make Araragi feel the way he does in Neko Kuro, it explains more of his relationship w/ Shinobu and Gahara-san more so than it does Hanekawa really. For the rest of what you said though, wait till season 2 or read Neko Shiro translated version. Kizu explains araragi's relationship w/ shinobo and gahara? I haven't read the LNs but isn't Kizu before Neko which is before Bake? Kizu is the very first chronologically... except all the parts from Kabuki and Oni. + Show Spoiler +It's how Araragi/Shinobu/Hanekawa/Meme met. It has nothing to do with Senjougahara personally (she doesn't even make an appearance) but explains Araragi's personality which in turn affect his relationship with her. + Show Spoiler [Kizu] +I cant recall well so Ill just ask, its hinted that Oshino has something to do with Kiss-shot's heart going missing. Does Kizu confirm it? + Show Spoiler +It's not hinted, he did it, and said it. + Show Spoiler [kizu] +Im sorry, I should have asked the question somewhat clearer. Is it explicit why ? + Show Spoiler +yes, it was pretty explicit. don't really know how you could've missed it. + Show Spoiler [Kizu] +Ok then I forgot, why does he steal it ? + Show Spoiler [Kizu] + He wanted to maintain the balance (whatever that means) so he stole kissshot's heart and weakens her. As the result she would be even with vampire hunters. TBH It's pretty dumb but it is what it is. It's also his reason for helping Araragi, to keep balance.
+ Show Spoiler +Yea I see, I had a feeling it was something like that when I was trying to recall but it seemed rather silly so I figured I'd just ask to confirm. Havent read anything Ishin in a while, Maybe should get back on Medaka box so the trolliness isnt lost on me.

It was hinted in Bakemonogatari as well but maybe for you guy who has read the light novel can shower me with the answer. Since I been hearing that the ending of Nekomonogatari got altered. + Show Spoiler + Was Araragi ever in love with Hanekawa? Throughout nekomono, this question keep getting toss around. He first come to the conclusion that it was just lust with his sister but he eventually went as far as to die for her. Even stating at the end that he kinda regrets that he failed to even do that. Then with his final talk with Oshino, he once again says that he doesnt love her. Oshino told him that Hanekawa was indeed in love with him and even said something along the line that, "Just because she never said she loves you, doesnt mean you doesnt love you." I was going to leave it that but then I realize that this also could also apply to Araragi as well. Then he finally said he would NEVER love Hanekawa.
So once again, was Araragi ever in love with Hanekawa? Why did he say he can never love Hanekawa or was it just because he wanted them to stay friends? Was their something about Hanekawa that he didnt like? + Show Spoiler [Araragi/Hanekawa] +Well, Araragi felt he is deeply in debt to her (because what happened in Kizu which apparently we are not gonna get) so he felt he couldn't fall in love with her (because love is an equal relationship). + Show Spoiler [Season 2 stuff] +Hanekawa eventually confessed to him but Araragi refused + Show Spoiler +So Araragi did like her but he cant ever love her due to him being in debt to her? I though Kizu was on the winter anime list and last I heard it was getting delayed. It is not canceled is it? + Show Spoiler +Araragi also thinks she's like perfect in every way possible. Perfect grades, attendence, knows everything, is always nice, thinks she's a saint, etc etc. He could never see himself as an equal to her. Also, Kizu is suppose to be in theatres sometime in 2013, but they also said it was suppose to be out in 2012. + Show Spoiler +It true that Hanekawa is perfect in every other way and Araragi can never be in the same league as her but I dont see how that a bad thing. I mean, just look here, he is basically saying he doesn't like those things, and I'm saying I don't mind. To slightly change the subject, I'm going to be showing a friend LoGH pretty soon, starting from the very beginning. I'm going to start off showing him the "My Conquest is the Sea of Stars" Movie, since that was made first, and chronologically happens right before the series starts. But here is my question: Should I show him the other movie, "Overture to a New War", over episode 1-2? Overture is the movie version of episode 1-2, it covers the same material, and more (since its a 1.5 hour movie vs 2 20 minute episodes). I thought that Overture did those same events much better, since we get more content, and its movie quality, than their counterpart in the main OVA. What do you guys think? I'm going to start watching LoGH with those two movies first because of this post... however, "My Conquest is the sea of stars" seems to have like 1-2 people seeding it at nyaatorrents, any alternative site where more may be seeding? Also, when should I watch the other movie/OVA:s? Golden Wings is listed as a prequel on MAL, as are A Hundred Billion Stars... and Spiral Labyrinth. Golden Wings is an abomination, don't watch that ever. A Hundred Billion Stars and Sprial Labyrinth are considered "Gaidens", which means they are technically prequels, but are intended to be watched AFTER the main OVA. Also bakabt. Thanks, problem solved. I'll go ahead and watch conquest -> overture - episode 3-110... right? Yeah.
Does it feel weird going form a movie into a series as part of the same story? Is there like a drastic difference in animation style/quality or anything?

So there is more QUALITY in the OVA than the movies, but that's to be expected. But with LoGH, it isn't about the visuals, so it is a negligible issue IMO.

It literally JUST STOPS in the middle of the final battle with every major plot line unresolved, almost as if there was supposed to be two more episodes but the director was just like "HEY. GUYS. GREAT IDEA. Let's stop the series here with this line that might seem super deep, (even if we are playing cliffhanger music and we give the ED right after with no difference from the last episode), and all go out and eat sushi with the rest of the budget." It's completely mindboggling and it made me angry. ill have you know that is some high class demon meat
ha what i meant was since i like spicy wolf (everyone likes all the furries tailsss and) enjoyed the economics part so i am going to be ok with maoyuu's economics part too, some reverse 'hero saves the world' theme is definitely interesting haha. I cannot stop laughing when she took off her horns rofl!
And the episode1 is pretty much about a guy proposed to a girl >_> abit too cute and flashy but i kinda like it <3

After chuni/SAO/BTOOM finished I only have Psycho Pass left from last season. Still have 4 'new' episodes of Kokoro connect to watch though. BTOOM is the bomberman version of battle royale (albeit less mature elements in there).
Will chase Jojo once they went into the Chapter3 <3 Spice and Worlf and Maoyuu is totally different though, different theme, background, style. Only thing they have in common is using economy as a plot driver. "ECONOMICS" is not economics. S&W is for closet furries and furries in denial, Maoyuu is for people who want to bang a meat slab. Nor is there economics in smuggling. Nor is there economics in breaking a contract that has been written with that purpose in mind, etc. All of those things happen to involve money in some way, they just don't have anything to do with economics.

In Ookami to Koushinryou LN, last couple vol actually have some interesting macroeconomics ideas. I wouldn't mind another season or two of the show TBH.

Too bad that it took some 10+ vols to get there and I wanted to kill myself after like 5. Also with how horrid Millionaire Girl was I am inclined to believe that whatever interesting idea that might've been written it wasn't written on purpose. He probably only stumbled on something neat purely by accident without intending to write it that way.

Well, the mid vols are just weird rendition of Wizard of Oz

I finished watching Conquest and Overture. So far it feels like they were a great introduction, as I really want to know what's going to happen next now. I find myself enjoying the soundtrack a lot, as I rarely listen to that type of music. So, the empire is based on Germany (Valkyries! Blitzkrieg! I can't help but love those names/words for some reason), whereas the Alliance is basically like... every other country. I really like that the technology isn't ridiculously futuristic, or, well, futuristic but still simple. Like, a physical magazine that has a hologram on each page, etc.
+ Show Spoiler +Anyway, now that Yang Wenli isn't stuck in the "tells good strategy to his commander but the commander is retarded and goes ahead with A-move" phase, it'll be very interesting to follow the series.
