Monogatari series actually not that bad. Zaregoto and Risuka is where he turns his blood lust way up.
Yes but no one has any idea what those two series are except for like 3, makes 0 sense as examples.
Just throwing this in here, I've enjoyed both the Monogatari series and Katanagatari, and I'm one of those who actually liked Katanagatari's ending. Should I check out the other works by him that have been mentioned/anything else by him?

Only thing left for you to watch is Medaka, other things are not in anime form. The Zaregoto series is partially translated officially (2 vols) and Uta is randomly working on it. Everything else you pretty much can't get.

It might just be me but seems like the novel translators picked up the pace since the announcement in an attempt to finish before anime. After Neko Kuro, I'd much rather read before I watch especially if 6 novels in 26eps means cutting out all the good lines to fit it. Kizu by 2015?
Too lazy to write wall of text but masterpieces should be rare, very rare. 5% is pretty damn high. The thing is, after watching a ton of anime and having a large number of favorites, how do you distinguish between all your 10's? Even if we maintain pure subjectivity, then why is your favorite anime better than your 20th favorite anime which is also a 10? It's more a matter of re-scaling your ranking system so you can clearly show x anime is actually even better than some other favorites you might have. If you're going to use an academic grading scale argument, I know my professors give 1-2 A+'s to classes of 300-400 students.
Thats where the subjectivity thing comes in doesnt it. Its not academic at all and it shouldnt be, its entertainment.
And to your point about distinguishing it from everything else. I dont think anyone really has a 20th favourite anime, unless they were forced to pick one
. But you can have a few favourites. I dont think people have very many 10s if they actually think about the stuff they are watching. Most of them hold off at 8 or 9. But the ones that do get 10s may often have very very insignifcant even laughable (to others) criterias for the little bump. Could be whatever people throw out here feeling, nostalgia, preferance. Ultimately the kicker is subjective. I dont really look at the 10 rating as a masterpiece. Thats just a MAL label isnt it ?

The experience of the doctor was insane! I haven't felt that way watching an anime for a long time, or maybe its the first time!
No hesitation, he didn't even try to speak with "his undead wife". But I guess its for the good of the village. Now the doctor knows their weakness
I am wondering though... how come the other Shikis didn't noticed that the wife wasn't buried yet? Why none checked after she died at the hospital? I remember when the doctor tried to keep one of his patient safe at the clinic, the Shikis came to claim her.
