Same seiyuu as every flat-chested tsundere, aka Kugumiya Rie. I can't say I am too excited about Shana 3, unless there is more Hecate, and thus more Noto Mamiko. I do wonder how the light novels have continued for so long, maybe they are actually better, should give it a whirl at some point...maybe -.- | ||

The series is pretty good as it is (in the sense that it's interesting enough to keep you entertained and intrigued, the first time through), but it has so much potential to be REALLY good. I get pissed every time I think about that. Also the action gets to be pretty lame...I was consistently UNDERwhelmed during the entire finale of the second season. Speaking of shows with potential that never achieved it...fucking Elfen Lied...I really liked it as it was, but fuck. I really wish the producers would have ok'd a full season. It could have been a fucking terrific series. Instead, the limitations in length totally killed its potential. | ||

At least the first season. I'm on ep 23 of season 1 and it's so painful to watch, I'm watching it solely for the sake of deleting it. Because I need room for better series!!! I'm literally halfway through the episode and watching it as I am typing this post. However, I just binge watched all 103 episodes of D.Gray-man in the last 2-3 days. And that was much more epic. Now when it stops being on hiatus and they have enough for another season... if they do that, that would truly be epic news. Even the fillers were kind of nice and enjoyable. At least compared to Naruto fillers (die Yukimaru) and Bleach (die Bleach.. period). | ||

The series is pretty good as it is (in the sense that it's interesting enough to keep you entertained and intrigued, the first time through), but it has so much potential to be REALLY good. I get pissed every time I think about that. Yeah. They could have done a bit more with the action sequences. And they sort of overdid the romance too. One thing I really dislike about the anime is that Shana looks completely different. (Actually, I was really tempted to look for akaneiro on PS2 because of voice cast) At above, overdoing the romance is the only way to get us more Kawasumi Ayako, who is the other reason that I bother with Shana at all. So I approve >.> About character designs, we can say that Haruhi got changed drastically too, heh, Noizi Ito has a really distinct style that doesn't translate to anime well. | ||

ZnT is full of extremes on that, no one seems to fall in between, at least, no one in Saitou's ever-growing harem, though that new girl introduced in the volume after the latest season might be different. No idea, only saw passing references in doujin and have yet to try to read the books (a la Shana, sitting on HD waiting to be read, one day, one day when I am really bored out of my mind and have no internet and etc etc). Actually while we are on the matter of things being confirmed, Darker than Black season 2 is apparently 'confirmed' in a larger magazine, think the original news was a leak. I am personally quite happy about it, because it means they'll release another OST, one that will contain that BGM track that I loved in season 1 and never showed in the OST for it. Or I can be denied again >< Amber making a return, hopefully? | ||
