Fuck ya, when Juinchi first said he wanted to stay friends I was pissed off, I slapped my headphones off and cursed him to hell. Then he finally confessed and kissed her, then I was like YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!

Sad thing is, I dont think these were trollish responses = /
Hmm I don't like this ranking system. First of all, a lot of voids have specific uses rather than a "power level" so even if a person's is rank F it may still be needed in a certain situation. Also, I can see this easily becoming a hierarchy of social status where all the higher rank people bully the low ranked people, causing more chaos and betrayal.
I'm glad we finally get a glimpse of Inori's darker side. She's been way too boring of a character until now. Considering she's a clone, I wonder if she was somehow programmed to become violent and kill if her state of mind changes to a certain point. Kind of like a system to ensure she stays alive until she is put to use. Wouldn't be surprised if she actually doesn't recall killing them. I'll find it really strange if no one stumbles upon those dead bodies anytime soon.

Another great episode, imo. My only cringe is how Shu stunned that student beside him by pulling out his Void. I thought his power has evolved such that the said person would stay conscious.
Perhaps this has to do with how willing that person is to get his/her Void out. But still, it's kind of weird.
Also, that Void detector (Inori is obviously over 9000!) makes me wonder what are the antagonists' goals. Perhaps it is about Void mapping - to find the people with the strongest Voids.
I'm almost certain that the person only stays conscious if Shu gives them their void That's why inori was still unconscious in ep 13 cuz he used it himself.
But that doesn't make sense. The void cannot directly go into the person's hand - it has to be passed from Shu. Also I don't think Inori was unconscious.
Inori was cornered this episode by some students, then she beats the shits out of them - but she didn't make any comments about it to Shu. It almost seemed like the writers are trying to reveal Inori's dark side.
Shu made a comment back in episode 2 as to why Inori's Void is a sword. This is something which will probably never be answered until the end despite the fact that we seem to know a lot about Inori already (or do we?)
Is it just me, or is this Void ranking system really scary. Makes it sound like we can toss people away just based on their relative value. :/ If you ask me, ALL the Voids thus far have been incredibly useful in one way or another.
OK looking at episode 13 again, I do *NOT* think Inori was clearly unconscious after her sword was drawn. She was merely kneeling - and that is inconclusive as to whether or not she was conscious.
My hypothesis (imo) still holds. Shu can keep the person conscious if he has great affinity to that person (in terms of understanding) - this has been the theme so far (esp. with the situation which he drew Gai's and Ayase's Voids). Also I think it was implied (somewhat) that Tsugumi fell unconscious too when her Void was first drawn and had to take time to recover.
Really really really really liking this series more and more.
I thought a arc about Happy and Carla would be boring and "filler" ish, but nope I was wrong. Never really cared for Happy or Carla, or where they came from etc. But this arc just made me a fan of Happy for sure. I actually ended up crying a couple times. Amazing how they can add depth to these types of characters..
This anime, something about it, its just so good. This shit beats Naruto straight out of the fcking park. I gave up on that abomination 2 years ago (manga).

You're crazy. She was unconscious. I just remembered something. Oh my shoe has to hold their hand as he is withdrawing the void for them to stay conscious. That's what he did with Gai in ep 12. Gai says hold my hand!
I've watched all of Haruhi, even the complete endless 8 (may call me hardcore :>) but I also think that from the whole project, the movie was the best so far. Nagato ftw :D
Maybe I'll start reading Touch later, but for now I'm pretty occupied with Air Gear and Kenichi (still catching up to both x_X), anyway, thanks for the advice.
For me the best anime of the season so far is Ano Natsu because I also really loved Onegai Twins/Onegai Teacher x)
P.S.: Having almost every post in the thread as spoiler (good thing) is kinda funny xD

After reading some blog posts and stealing ideas here and there and piece them together myself, I have a theory about how the plot will advance.
ep14 gave us some hints about Inori -her merciless killing of three students then lied to Shu about it. I think this is because something happened in ep12 which we weren't told about. Perhaps she realized her origin; or she got infected by the virus; or she got possessed by Mana. Or, perhaps she is Mana all along - which may have explained why she likes Shu so much since the beginning of the series.
Anyways, the point is, I think Inori will behave more like Mana than ever before. Then she will probably go on Mana's destructive streak, then Shu has to stop her - something he wasn't able to do 10 years ago to save Mana.

Maybe you're right but it does sound a little too simplistic.
The premise started off pretty simple to begin with, but we've gotten quite a few twists so far. Here's to hoping that it doesn't follow that obvious path.
Damn it Yahiro, that scheming bastard. He was an asshole to begin with, but he was "redeemed". I can't imagine the writers writing him back into the villain role, but I really can't possibly agree with that void rank plan with Oh My Shoe as king. We don't have that many episodes left . When will Shu finally "Gai" up, and come up with his own ideas?
Also, Shu's void ranking is XXXX. Does that mean he has no void? But he has to since he was just a normal human before he became the "king"

I doubt it's that simple; since what I described is a theory that does not involve the antagonists. I have absolutely no idea what kind of roles they will play.
And oh. I finally understood why you call him "Oh My Shoe". LoLz.
I do believe he has a Void; but there is no way to see it right now unless he pulls it off himself, or Daath pulls his Void.
Also, according to Gai, only people age 17 or younger has Voids. So far, they haven't used that detector on an adult, so it's also not clear what will happen if they do that.
So Shu can pull voids without eye contact now? He seems to be getting more OP by the second. Its also nice to see him slowly manning up and stop being a pussy.

I just realized that there was no eye contact there hahahaha. Mega plot hole rofl hahahaha atleast code geass were better at hiding their plot holes haha
Hello, I was just watching last ep of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu. There is 2 things I'd liek to ask. First of all, I had problems watching last ep because most of the streaming hosts are down. I ended up watching half of it from some random place and other half from other place, quality being shit ofc. So how do people watch anime nowadays? Torrent it? If so is there a site dedicated to this where you also can get older animes? (Like having more than 0-2 seeders). Some animes are just near impossible to watch. I watched petite cossette from megavideo, and I don't know anymore how to watch it.
Other question is that, was the season 1 ending spoiler>+ Show Spoiler +
that open? I'm not sure about the order I watched but in my last episode protagonist picked up a heater for clubroom. Was the real last episode that snow white thingy? Second season came 3 years later right? Isn't this a bit too open ending in either case for anime that isn't getting sequel right in next year?
