If you're looking for realism, you need to stop watching anime.
Or just watch school days.

Yeah that whole anime needs to function within boundaries of realism argument is silly. You really should stay away from anime in the first place if things like that bother you.
While I didn't like the serie my issue with it was not unrealistic android babes.

+ Show Spoiler + Ugh it was Shu isnt it? Gai has blonde hair, the guy in the picture was definitely Shu and his mother and possibly Inori. I am not so sure if it is Inori or not because the Inori in here smiles and we hardly see Inori smiles although the pink hair says otherwise lol. Maybe I am just thinking to much xD
EDIT: Ohhhh lol I think it probably Shu dad possibly? Although Gai is possible too but then again anything because all it showed was a hand lol. I didnt see it at first -.-

An anime that relies on surrealistic atmosphere shouldn't be judged by technological inconsistencies. It's like criticizing Kaiba cause of people switching memories with small plugs... totally ridiculous

I'm going to assume you've never seen school days. And that you're an asshole.
Just FYI, it's based upon a true story; which is it's biggest reason for being both popular and extremely controversial.

+ Show Spoiler +uhh yeah its taken a somewhat interesting turn, there hasn't really been a plot arc as such, but I feel like the whole case of the week thing is past and this episode was decent enough to make me anticipate the next one.

At first I thought it could be great with the whole post-apocalyptic world where robots have wiped out humans, but seems like the creator of this anime forgot what a fucking robot is. I can't stop lolling how every episode introduces a "robot" that looks exactly like a good looking young human woman/girl. Okay the looks are not the problem really, I mean androids are pretty common in scifi, but these "robots" also have feelings like humans, they cry, they fall in love, they have dreams, one of them even fucking fainted (lmao, robot fainting?), and apparently they also age (and I don't mean that they gather more rust). I mean come on, I don't care how advanced the technology is, these human robots are no robots but just pure humans who don't need to eat. I was ready to accept it on Casshern on the sake that he is 'special', but as the series goes on you notice he ain't special at all, only thing he has special is his strength. I think I'm not going to watch more, but I'd like to hear what others think of Casshern. I'm quite sure Casshern Sins has nothing to do with technological realism, kinda strange thing to get stuck on unless you're some hardcore gundam otaku... Why the fuck would a "hardcore gundam otaku" get caugh up on lack of technological realism in a show? What the fuck am I even reading... Do you think that Gundam itself technologically realistic?

I too am curious. Wikipedia fails to tell me anything of that sort. There were controversy about the airing of the final episode on that particular week because of a incident that also occur but I am not sure if it was actually based on a true story. But then again, considering that there are million and milllion of student going to school so the possibility that such event occur is definitely plausible.
