Kimi to Boku - first episode relaxing but nothing amazing.
Persona 4 - had some interesting parts but I was having trouble keeping interest into it.
Chihayafuru - enjoyed this series and i think it will be good if it develops the characters and doesn't focus on just the cards. we'll see.. don't like character design.
Hunter x Hunter - i'm not so sure on this one yet.
downloading gundam age now we'll see how it goes.

so many shitty fighting/school settings, its like a disease xD well great season anyways, i mean gundam, fate/zero, hxh, ika musume, mirai nikki, last exile are all prequels, sequels, remakes or adaptions of awesome anime and manga and you pretty much get what you want (tho gundam chars looook like gradeschool kids -.-) well last exile did not air yet sooooo i kinda have to trust my gut feeling but i am confident!
i am still waiting for ungo and guilty crown, and horizon did not live up to the hype in this thread...
it feels like a retarded crossbreed of last exile, ladies vs butler and valkyria chronicles -.-
shows i wont drop yet are bento and maji de watashi, there i actually watched the full first episode and thought they have potential for comedy/fanservice/action <.<

Got done with Gundam Age despite my worrys I enjoyed it. I like those knife blades the gundam has but I think that spoiler on its back looks dumb.
mirai nikki I thought was an awesome 1st episode i'm excited to see where it goes.

There were a lot of comments before that were all hype about Horizon. When the PV was posted on this thread, there were a lot of posts about it and most were positive. It was definitely hyped.

Ep 2 will make some things more clear, but the story doesn't really "get going" until the end of book 1, which is like 5-6 episodes in assuming they're going with a two vols per season approach.
Edit:
The problem is that, as you could see from some of my rough translations of the novels, it's an incredibly dense and complex world system that's tough to explain in a much more limiting TV format. It's gonna take them a while to get these basic things out... and the first episode really didn't help. Hence why I've been incessant about how they stuffed all the action into ep 1 which unfortunately draws and wards away the wrong crowd.

I already dropped Boku. I don't know... I just can't get into it. I know it's only the second episode, but I'm not feeling it. EP1 of Mirai Nikki kept me pretty interested aside from Persona this was the only first EP I watched that kept my interest through the entire episode.

Well personally with the context and backdrop available it was fine. It really is a nightmare to storyboard.I remember one of you saying shaft shouldve done it, I was wondering why, when i think Shaft I think Monogatari, Zetsubo, Natsu no Arashi, Maria Holic and maybe some other stuff Im sure I really liked. Im not aware that they have any pedigree doing much action fantasy stuff unless you count Madoka, and I dont know if theyre usual chara designs (from the stuff I think theyre good at anyway) would fit either. Horizon is more Bakemonogatari-esque than an "action fantasy stuff." Hence why episode 1 was misleading.
