He seems unmoved by the events that happen in such a short amount of time. I'm kinda interested in what he will show when his allies/friends die or if the colony takes even further damage, etc.
I know he built the thing... but did he really have that much piloting experience?

+ Show Spoiler [Gundam AGE] +I assumed they killed their own to stop their tech from being leaked as well. The side effect of this is that yes, their identity remains concealed.
The logical future plot development here would be for the mc to kill a bunch of suits, inspect one of the cockpits, see that its actually people (what a tweeeeest), and enter the emo phase that we're all too familiar with.
Overall, the show wasn't bad, but I wasn't impressed either. The intro is pretty generic in terms of Gundam shows, but whatever. It's still too early to judge.

Mirai Nikki Ep 1 is out. It sounds like it could be interesting. Pacing will obviously be important. It seems like it could be similar to how death note and code geass played out in their first seasons.

I was referring to episode 1 being the same type as 0079's first episode. I thought that was obvious. It already isn't Zeta-like knowing the show is going to change to generation 2 at some point.
+ Show Spoiler +As far as reverse-engineering, they can pretty clearly see how the Gundam is better than their technology now. So I don't think that they are really that scared of a tech leak when the Federation already has better technology with the Gundam.

im usually the type thats only into school life romance comedy etc. but this anime is just "wow". they explain the premise real well, and youre immediately hooked in.
this anime just reached the top of my list this season. the other animes im currently watching are: Shinryaku! Ika Musume, Working!!, Boku Ha Tomodachi, Ben-to, Mashiro Symphony, and Tamayura.
im still waiting on Guilty Crown, ive been hyping that anime up since i saw the first PV. but as of now, Mirai Nikki is just... wow...
im still high off that first ep... holy shit...

I am really looking forward to seeing more of Yuno animated. She was allready creepy in the manga but animated it gets much better.
I really like the voice actors they chose for Yuno and Yukiteru. Yukis voice actor is perfect for playing wimpy characters and same with Yunos creepy voice
