(11:13:27 AM) Ecael: awesomeness is inversely proportional to Nagi appearances
Dem shameless plugs.

I have no idea how they want to bring all this information into the anime of Horizon. Maybe they'll just cram it in but then you get like one or two episodes only with one guy talking about past things and so far they didnt do a good job of transmitting the needed information which you'll need to understand this anime

It' like everyone except the main female protagonists gets love Wait, Hina isn't the main female protagonist? But the equation Awesomeness(Nagi, Hina) = Hina^Hina - Nagi^100 clearly shows that awesomeness is compounded by Hina appearances but severely reduced by Nagi. Maybe someone else is main, but it sure isn't this Nagi girl you speak of.

T-M has a pretty decent hit rate too.

I usually don't care much for Kana Hanazawa's voice, but damn, it fit so perfectly with her personality. She definitely is one of my favorite main heroines. Actually, I normally don't like the main heroine or at least prefer one of the supporting females instead.

Actually, I normally don't like the main heroine or at least prefer one of the supporting females instead. Well, problem with 'main' heroine is that you need to pick as large an audience as you can get and try to have it have a good impact. Writing for a larger niche though tends to end up diluting the character, more interesting angles also tend to get pushed onto supporting casts as to avoid alienating a larger group. So as a result, things tend to get pretty bad with main heroines. Lucky ones like Touko-senpai is just backed by excellent writing from the author. Other exceptions are like, reverse harems (gogo otome scenarios) where the main female can have a lot of depth without worrying about audience - after all, that's the average male MC position.
So tl;dr, main heroines tend to be bland and appeal to the lowest common denominator as to get the largest appeal.
Also, if they did the full series instead of just movies + OVA, I'd actually be able to say something about Hanazawa's performance. Touko-senpai has way more sides than what the anime lets on, would've been interesting to see Hanazawa try to perform to all of those. This talk also makes me want a Kokoroconnect anime, except that's probably never happening, sad.
Oh yeah, I totally wish they'd cover the gaidens + gaiden SS in OVA form just so that we can see Nano and compare her to Touko-senpai. For gaiden, the quality was surprisingly high. Pretty much main series material with the apprentice instead of the bungaku shoujo herself.

Miu makes me sad Fake loli is way more depressing, especially in the ss collections, though the elementary school to middle school Miu is pretty depressing too.

So really what you meant to say is that you prefer watching and listening over reading, not VNs being easier to read than LNs.

Also, Chihayafuru seems interesting after watching the first episode.
Am I a bad person for basically not liking any anime that has any sort of shounen element whatsoever?
I kinda feel you on this one. Before I discovered the newer seasons of anime, the only one Id watch was Naruto.
I stayed faithful to that anime for 200-some episodes. Then I get rewarded with fillers. -_-
Ever since that, I just stick to all dat moe comedy romance school life goodness.

Got into watching first episodes of Fate/Zero now as I sorted my codec pack up to date. I thought Fate Stay Night was decent but this seems amazing and far better than FSN.
Potentially this seasons best serie?
