In S;G terms, the C;H events have already converged, so they are from the same timeline after a fashion. I guess it is hard to guess whether S;G would occur w/o the C;H events given butterfly effect, but yeah.
They aren't connected by plot, only through the mutual appearance of the Hundred Man Committee being the mastermind behind both the things in C;H and S;G.

I see, thanks for the explanation. I figured it was something like that since it didn't seem like Chaos Head plot had anything to do with the events in Stein's Gate.

Well, Z3kk, you already saw up to the part of the Jellyman report or at least Daru doing stuff w/ SERN servers. So knowing that there is an organization pulling the strings at what they are doing there isn't exactly spoilers, I'd think.

I also think it's sort of odd how CERN is an evil organization lol. And what's the difference between SERN and CERN? There's your traditional restyling of well-known organizations/products, but CERN actually stands for something (it's French, as some/all of you may know)
