For decades, the Galactic Empire has been locked in an interstellar war with the Free Planets Alliance, a conflict that involves thousands of spaceships and millions of soldiers on both sides. Two new commanders enter the conflict with great hopes: Imperial Admiral Reinhard von Lohengramm and the FPA's Yang Wen-Li. As they deal with superiors and subordinates, maneuver through complicated political arrangements, plot strategies, and win battles, each will be tested, and ultimately, changed, by the reality of war.
LoGH is an epic space opera of 110 episodes plus a few movies. Then there are some gaiden storys too. It used to be ranked #1 on MAL, but now its just ranked #5. Even Triangle, who we were arguing with, ranked it 8/10, vs the rest of us who ranked it 10/10. Its a very good anime.
@Spazer: Since you are talking about Break Blade movie 5, does that mean movie 5 is subbed now?
So, my Suzumiya Haruhi-chan no Yuuutsu torrent had 28 episodes and not broken into the out of order 14 or whatever and I was just wondering if it makes any difference? I think you guys talked about this a little while back, but I couldn't keep up with the flying pages so I thought I'd just ask again.

The fanboys will tell you that the out of order version is "true to the direction" or something like that. But in truth it doesn't matter. Haruhi in the out of order broadcast version is just gimmicky.

Honestly I just watched it the way it was packed by the subber, and I was satisfied.
Also, I finished the Haruhi movie. It was really good. There was a lot of suspense, intrigue and no plot holes I could see. It tied up into the previous seasons well. Also I got my kawaii Nagato dose, I feel satisfied. It made up for S2. I DLed it @ 720p and now I'm considering going back to DL it in 1080p...

Its gimmicky, but it added to the show imo. Plus, the last chronological episode of Haruhi is not nearly as last-episody as the broadcast last episode.

Yeah, I got it from bakaBT. So, it's legit to just watch it in the order it's packaged in? That's what I've done for the first 5EPs, but then I went off to wiki it a bit and saw all sorts of stuff about how it aired and all and I got panicky.

Just saying. It "makes a lot more sense", not in that you'll understand it, but in that it works the way I just charted.

This is essentially the case. The books were one vol long story or compilation of short stories, and the series was constructed with that in mind. There is no reason to watch it in chronological order - certainly wasn't like that in the books. Omitting information like that actually works to keep a better pace and interest of the overall story by allowing it to be presented in a manner more like the original work had.
Like, that peak that michael had there was the end of vol 1. The relatively flat line later are all the short stories that got thrown in. There is honestly no reason to watch a show like that. You can put up with reading that because you recognize it as a series that will continue at a certain pace, and the short stories lead up to other long arcs later, but for something on TV? No, just can't do it that way.
None of this has to do with how I got my copy of vol 10.

Haruhi-chan is just a gag webanime that has a surprisingly good manga.
