What Kaal had was so absurd that I needed to post an one-liner then edit in the rest. It has both the new 14 episodes mixed inbetween the old 14. Here's the list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Melancholy_of_Haruhi_Suzumiya_episodes Honestly I just watched it the way it was packed by the subber, and I was satisfied. Also, I finished the Haruhi movie. It was really good. There was a lot of suspense, intrigue and no plot holes I could see. It tied up into the previous seasons well. Also I got my kawaii Nagato dose, I feel satisfied. It made up for S2. I DLed it @ 720p and now I'm considering going back to DL it in 1080p... To be honest, it doesn't make up for season 2. The only thing they got out of season 2 was to get us some background to Nagato's behaviors in Disappearance. They could have done Disappearance in season 2 and it would've been just as good probably, just without the flashy stuff. Not to mention that there wasn't any reason they couldn't have done the next major arc instead of having Endless 8. The events were not that hinged on Disappearance and leaving out information wouldn't be exactly far from the audience's expectations. As for plot hole, there was a major one, but not that sci-fi writers don't get lazy at times when it comes to funky time travelling problems.

ill take an anti climatic "ending" over a nonsensical ordering any time. especially cause you now have the movie which works as a great ending to the series. i watched the broad cast order and regretted it, so went back and skimmed all the episodes in the chrono order.

And regardless of whether I had watched the show the way it was broadcasted, I don't think my opinion of it would've been too different. It's still a decent show, and while the sci-fi of it wasn't the most magnificent thing in the world, what did interest me more was just the characters the slice of life element to it.

Have you ever watched Code Geass? If so, what were your thoughts on the show? Which season was better, the first season or R2?

that was necessary because half of the series was storyline and the rest was random shit that happened after the climax. Otherwise it would feel insultingly anticlimactic Now, considering anyone that downloads it now, is probably going to marathon through it, I think its pointless to go with the broadcast order. And again, you now also have the movie that, i think, works as a great ending to the series. Ultimately its obviously up to personal preference, i went with the broadcast order cause i trust the "author" over anything else, but i don't think it really paid off in this case. Alternatively you can watch it both ways :p And no, I haven't watched CG yet (http://myanimelist.net/animelist/edvh).

I say that the first season is overall awesome and has a very high standard. R2 has its ups and downs whe it is awesome it is uber awesome but thats paired with some sub standard events that feel forced and consequently some sub standard episodes. In the end R2 is slightly better. One beef I have with the show: they always use terrain to "surprise" the enemy.... this is extremely lame. Landslide, volcano, the fight in the desert (can not remember what exactly changed the terrain there)..... thats just retarded.

+ Show Spoiler + Thank God the spoilers weren't as true. Hoping for a happy/harem ending, as Kuroneko/Ruri and Kirino kinda got along at the end of that chapter. This is coming from a Kirino fan too, I just couldn't stand it if Ruri WAS just written out of the story like the spoilers suggested. Wouldn't mind more Ayase scenes either.

As for me all I want is just a bit more Ayase involvement. Also...what lost of coherence was there by watching Suzumiya season 1 in broadcasting order. Seriously. If you watched episode 00 and expected coherence, you are insane.

You are incapable of watching LoGH. I guess you are too afraid to give a real answer, since you know I'd spoiler it for you. I guess this isn't really surprising, though.
