So, I found a Summer 2011 chart.+ Show Spoiler +

Since either no one has brought it up before, or I completely missed it, you guys know the drill - what looks mildly interesting for this summer?
Anything you're particularly excited for? Any hopes? What will crash and burn?

As always I know little or nothing on the list so for me a sure pick will be Baka to Test season 2.
Some OVAs look interesting too, like Hellsing #8, Carnival Phantasm and Black Lagoon S3 5/5.

Miyako is pretty awesome. She's one of the few genki characters that I don't find overly annoying. I really like her monologue segments.

I really like the art style in this VN. The characters seem to blend in very naturally with their environment, while still being able to have expression on their face and easily distinguishable body language.

ATM I'm on the morning after their 1st time. As always I got bored of the porn text and had to skip it over like in every other VN ;/.

I always thought the general consensus was that Miyako sucks.

I don't like her, anyway. It's all about Chihiro and Mizuki

I REALLY WANT TO CREATE A "MANGA DISCUSSION THREAD"

Reason?
Well, we all know manga and anime are very 2 different things, related, but yet different.
There are cases such as manhwa or manhua that are clearly not suited for this thread.
Also manga story line normally has faster flow/ different art work compare to anime. Talking about it here is just a clear spoiler as well as raising the question whether anime vs manga.

I know a lots of people dont like manga as much as anime but its like you comparing reading X-men from a marvel comic book to seeing cartoon/live action about it. Personally i find them to have different kind of audience as well as different taste even though they are trying to express the same story.

If the thread will be made, i would like Southlight or some TL mod to made the OP since they will sure be sticking with the scene for a while.

The way I feel is that we kinda need LNs, VNs, manga, etc. in this thread, because I don't think we could keep talking about only anime for as long as we have.

Also things like manga are usually grouped together with anime anyway.

I agree, anime and manga are closely related enough to share a thread. They are different, but so are all the genres of anime that are talked about here. We could have posts about LoGH one post, and stuff about Lucky Star in the next. And most people in this thread are good about spoilering what needs to be spoilered, so I don't think that's a problem either.
