The main controversy was the ending though. + Show Spoiler + People think that Lelouch either died or lived on as L2, L.L., R2, R.R. (aka Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2). There's a ton of evidence for both view points. I think that the producers originally has Lelouch become immortal after taking his Father's code, but decided to let the views choose for themselves. I think that the ending is still excellent both ways. All hail Lelouch!!! | ||

The ending was still awesome though, but I hated the second season and I felt that the really good last episode wasn't nearly enough to make up for it D: | ||

Yeah I love it when a studio tosses out the original script for a good show, fires the original writer and director then decides to screw it all up with a bunch of semi-evangelion mindfuck stuff just to milk the money cow some more. | ||
