Hahah, yeah most of FC feels a bit like you're just doing redundant tasks, but it's more-or-less a setup for the last chapter of that one, which unloads like billions of stuff on you at once to set you up for the worst cliffhanger ever known to gamekind.
You end up appreciating FC more after the fact, when you realize that all the mundane stuff you were doing let you get a taste of the world.

Ecael totally prefers Yandere over Imouto characters. <.< >.> Ayase over Kirino, Kohaku over Akiha, etc.
Well said lol.
and FC picks up so much after the Central Workshop and events start to flow.

Pretty much, FC's early parts are kind of stale other than the things with Joshua's background and what Cassius is up to the whole time. The events don't really start to become interesting till you learn more about the starts to events in the final chapter. That sets up for a really damn dynamic last couple of chapters, then gives you that cliffhanger.
Totally glad I didn't play the games as they release, waiting 2 years for that might just be too painful.

I played the PSP port version-- don't know if that made a difference. My interest went downhill after the silver streak left, and the new characters after that didn't make up for it.
I don't have the save file anymore, though, so that's a bummer if I want to restart it. Seems like I stopped just at the wrong time.

wtf Kloze was totally awesome once you get there, and the lady Mayor in the shopping city is damned cool too.
