IDK about all giants, but any time someone from Elbaf is shown, they always have a viking theme going on with them, even as far back as Little Garden, with Dorry and Brogy, who used to be pirates in an enormous viking longboat. I still don't like Mach Vise's Devil Fruit. Its practically the same thing as the Kilo-Kilo fruit, and used exactly the same way as well. | ||

Mach Vise and Gladius's powers are there to help draw parallels between Alabasta and Dressrosa I think. Plus they haven't had that much screen time anyways. To me it would only become a problem if other fruit concepts were similarly adapted and reused in the future. | ||
