DD wanted Law to be "the third corazon"
original corazon (dd bro) died, and DD used ope ope to bring him back as the second corazon (clumsy flashback dude with no concentration)
"tragic accident"
who, in that case, died to bring back the second corazon? crazy stuff right there

when did DD talk about third corazon? think i missed it

Wtf did I just read? Cora looks pretty interesting tough I want to know more of the relationship between him and Dofla. And apparently Law's fruit can give someone immortality but it kills Law like how does that even work
|
I wonder if it's actual immortality, eternal youth or both.
Those 2 are way different. One is a rather op power while the other is super crappy in a shonen

"itamiwake", means tied. It's written as shared pain, because the idea is both sides took a beating and called it a tie. Mangapanda just doesn't understand Japanese is all.
Maynard is surprised that Sabo and Fujiora "tied", as an Admiral is the most powerful forces in Marines. He feels something fishy is going on."
But Maynard isnt an Admiral and nowhere does it mention Fujitora. So is it supposed to be "Maynard(adressing the person he is talking to and not the person he is talking about), the Admiral tied with Sabo" or what.

FINALLY e are getting the proper Law/DoFlamingo flashback. awesome.
Interesting that Corazan can't talk, they said it was a result of an accident but i would put money that Doflamingo hurt his brother in the past to prevent him from talking for some reason.
Fallen Dragon Kings btw is probably Doflamingo's most badass title ever

Holy shit this engrish translation. I couldn't understand half the things they said. Who do you think Law will give eternal life to? Because you know he fucking will. They wouldn't have introduced the concept if he's not going to use it.
|
Ope Ope No Mi for the most powerful fruit? That sounds OP.

Luffy. Heard it here first

Speaking of the whol eternal life thing, it brought back a memory of when Zoro first fought Mihawk wayyyy back and he said something about waiting for Zoro in his strongest form no matter how long or something(Don't remember exact quote.)
This is a far fetched thought but maybe one of the previous Ope Ope no Mi users gave Mihawk eternal life and that's why he says he will wait in his strongest form, meaning he won't age. Could also explain his eyes if that was like a side effect or something?

Law gonna die. Still called it ages ago

But Law giving him eternal life is kind of like the perfect loophole for constant use of gear second and those hormones. Honestly at the rate he is going now it would makes sense for him to need it, his body is due to give out after all the punishment he has taken. Law giving him Eternal Life would be like the one key that Gol D. Roger didn't have, time!
I still actually agree with you and don't think it will be that way but it could be a possibility.

Fuck, where is mangastream when you need them?
Holy shit, normally Mangapanda's translation is harder to follow than the alternative, but this week is just... What the hell happened, this entire chapter's translation is an abomination
|
If its Eternal Life... Could it be that Sugar has been the beneficiary of that power, since she doesn't age? They explained it as being part of her devil fruit, but that did sound kind of odd.
|
Who else thinks the mangapanda translators just wrote the signs into google translator and then called it a day?

I don't think that will happen but man that would be really awesome if it did. I am all for it.
Man what is it with the Celestial Dragons and immortality? First it was Bonney's fruit that changed peoples age that could theoretically have a trick to it to keep you forever young and now the Ope Ope.

16 years ago, kid Law says he will die in 2-3 years. 3 years later is 13 years ago, "that incident." So Corazon used the eternal life powers to save Law, fruit respawns, and Law snatches it from DD who wants its powers. I wonder if Corazon may have even used it on Law at DD's request, since he wanted to raise Law as the next Corazon and would also be an indirect way of killing Corazon. There's got to be more to it than that, but that seems like a good basis for what happened.
